It feels like Meghan is pushing more and more to get a response from the royals (like Harry lost his relationship with his dad) A response would put Harry & Meghan back in the public eye, probably another Oprah interview. The royals are being smart by not responding. I find it interesting that Harry is beginning to disagree with Meghan. The comment about Charles had to be clarified. When they divorce Meghan will be able to say whatever she wants. I’d say it’ll be a sh1tshow.

For someone who wants to distance herself from the family she married into and subsequently destroyed, she is sure hell bent on talking about them all the time. She needs to go away now.

She joined the royal family, pretty much refused the offered help. She wanted to be #1, but quickly realized that she had married the wrong prince for that. So she left with her title to make a new royal court in the US. She is flat out determined to destroy the royal family, because she couldn't be #1. I believe she is mentally ill. She started out as a mere "narcissist", but her behaviour and veiled threats are now putting her in the "psychopathic narcissist" realm. I don't know what state Harry is in after 3 years of marriage to her, but he's not stopping her lies and BS, so I'm thinking he's in a bad way. I also think he's not printing his book because he knows he's married to a nutcase, and doesn't want to totally alienate his family (a bit late I'd say) in case he needs a bolthole when Meghan dumps him for someone richer.

She felt she was restricted because her "entire job was tell me where to stand, tell me what to say, tell me how to say it, tell me what to wear, and I'll do it"...... That sounds just like the job she had before. Kind of like being an actress, right? Did she feel restricted when she was just an unknown actress on some Canadian show? Oh she knew a lot of it, but what she didn't realize was that she couldnt "monetize" the monarchy. She thought being married to a prince would give her the ability to make millions, if not billions of dollars. When she realized that the monarchy don't get paid for engagements, she decided she was going to change the monarchy. When that didn't work, she decided to run a brand new royal court in the US.

Newspapers said she had six months of Duchess training. It was also reported that one of the Queen's most trusted aides Samantha Cohen was to be be a mentor for Meghan. 'Ms Cohen would guide Meghan through her "six months of training" before her wedding, and then continue to look after her during her first year as a royal. Ms Cohen had already moved into Kensington Palace before the Sussexes tied the knot to help get the "Princess lessons" moving along.'

Strange how Harry had no problem with his family until Meghan, who cut off her own family, arrived on the scene. And far from wanting away from the media, they've courted it ever since -- still using their titles while moaning about how badly they were treated by the Royals. All for publicity and the money that generates. This is a very entitled pair who seem to feel they can get away with saying anything. Harry said his father "literally" cut him off. Apart from the fact that Harry was in his 30s, married and went to another country to allegedly to make his own way, Royal accounts showed that Charles continued to give Harry money in the months following the couple's leaving. It was hardly a Catherine Cookson saga. Harry even claimed he and Meghan were forced to live off what "my mother had left me" (a mere £7 million.). But he and William also inherited £14 million between them from their late great-grandmother, the bulk of which went to Harry on her instructions as a consolation because Harry would never be king. They now have a multi-million deal with Netflix. They were reported to want $1 million per speaking engagement. And the reason for that is those titles. They would be nothing without them. Meghan claimed she and Harry were married three days before the public wedding, causing the Archbishop of Canterbury to have to state, "I signed the wedding certificate which is a legal document, and I would have committed a serious criminal offence if I signed it knowing it was false." Then there was the claim that they were staying in a "housing unit" when they went to visit Africa and that poor Meghan was forced to leave Archie to perform duties after a fire, when they were actually staying at the High Commissioner's mansion and it was just a smoking heater. And Harry's lecturing us all about water conservation and the environment while living in a 16 bathroom, $30 million mansion and using private jets like taxis. This is why people are starting to question the "poor us; we're so victimized" chants.

I just HATE how she constantly flaunts her status and clout as a "Duchess" which she does every possible chance she gets but at the same time denigrates and maligns the very people who bestowed this honourable title on her in the first place, again, every possible opportunity she gets. The Royal Family have bent over backwards and spent untold amounts of taxpayer money on this selfish, self absorbed woman in order to make her transition to her new life as a royal as painless as possible and to make her feel welcome. But she just continues to spit in their face time and time again. And I used to feel sorry for Harry but it's clear he is fully onboard, defending her lies and complicit in her machinations. I gleefully look forward to their inevitable and complete downfall.

But firstly I want to clarify that I am an Australian not a Brit and although part of the Commonwealth I have no interest in the RF aside from the typical curiosity one has on random occasions so I have no vested interest in any of them or reason to defend them in any way. But the reason the RF seems defensive is because they are being attacked and maligned almost on a daily basis by Meghan. Wouldn't YOU be defensive under those circumstances? And Meghan knows the Royals won't clap back so she feels emboldened to attack them every chance she gets. What benefit she thinks she gains from doing this I'll never know. It's probably so she can continue to play the victim. The other thing in regard to the RF, if Meghan was the kind, caring and compassionate person that she is always claiming (pretending) to be, why would she go to such extreme lengths to stop Harry from having a relationship with his family? If she really loved Harry (and it's my opinion that she doesn't) she would want him to repair his relationship with his father, brother and grandmother. There's not a loving, supporting wife anywhere that wouldn't encourage her partner to try to repair their relationship with their family because she would know how important extended family are to most people. The Queen is getting towards the end of her life and Harry may not have too many more opportunities to spend time with her. But Harry does what Meghan wants and what she wants is to isolate him.This is deliberate because if he has no other support system in his life other than Meghan herself, it makes it a lot easier to manipulate and control him. And that's exactly what she's doing. When H & M arrived in the UK, the Queen and Prince Charles invited the Sussexs' up to Balmoral in Scotland for a visit. But they declined the invitation. Charles is trying to hold out an olive branch to his son but Meghan pushes that aside with the flick of her wrist. There's no way Meghan would allow Harry to go and visit his family because she doesn't want to risk relinquishing her control over him. And Princess Diana's mission to create world peace is NOT being implemented by Meghan.The only thing Meghan is implementing is her own public persona and her brand. Also, Meghan's "truth" is an elaborately crafted public image that doesn't have any relationship to the actual truth in any way. It's the truth as Meghan wishes it to be. Not the way it is. I seriously don't understand why people like you keep defending her horrendous behaviour when it's as plain as the nose on your face that she's a pathological liar. She has told MULTIPLE lies in recent months ranging from a heater that caught fire in Archie's nursery in South Africa (never happened) being told by a member of the "Lion King" cast that South Africans celebrated her marriage to Harry the way they did when Mandela was released from prison (an absolutely preposterous lie), saying that she didn't want the British press to have access to photos of Archie because, according to her, they refer to him as the "N" word (an even more preposterous and egregious lie), the way she's constantly taking swipes at her husband's family and the podcast she helped create so she could spend an hour talking about herself in front of an invited guest who gets to say very little. Finally, in regard to Princess Diana, she really was a people person who had an abundance of empathy and compassion which is one of the reasons she was so beloved. People like Diana who these days would probably be described as an "Empath" or a "Highly Sensitive Person", would have only needed to spend an afternoon talking to Meghan (or more likely listening to Meghan talk about herself) to fully understand just what kind of person she really is. Narcissistic, entitled, selfish, a master manipulator and a fraud. I have zero doubt that Diana would have seen through her facade immediately.

They (The Daily Mail) approached a man who was not even there at the event knowing exactly what would happen. There is video of her talking to Lebo M. Exactly, in her 70 or so royal engagements (in less than 1.5 years), which were hand-picked and curated to her interests I might add, there were plenty of projects and speeches she seemed all to happy to deliver. Meghan Markle wasn't silenced, she was given a unique, once in a lifetime platform, but she failed at it! She couldn't follow protocol, the hierarchy, play by the rules and work within the shared interests of the royal family - a family with plenty of other ambitious people already working there! She wasn't transparent. Not a team player. Demanding and rough. Etc. Etc.!! Evidence supports this happening behind the scenes rather than the nonsensical, one-sided claims she is making. My thought is once her reputation tanked, with the royal household staff, with the Cambridges, within the aristocratic circles, etc., and the press picked up on this tension, she wanted to bail. Her ego couldn't hand the criticism and she'd have to eat massive humble pie to get along with anyone again. Instead they reacted by hiding stories and playing games; "our pet dog's name is too private for you to know" etc. Twisting it so they were the ones persecuted, essentially turning royal journalism into a mockery and causing so much unnecessary bad blood. Altogether it was about Markle's massive ego bruise and the temptation to outmaneuver her critics by building a global brand that fueled the reasons for her exit from "traumatic" royal life, and we're now seeing what she has in her arsenal. Markle wanting to exact revenge for the reasons stated above, moreover being denied her lofty, self-serving image-building prince & princess dreams, and Harry's revenge as he thinks his wife was targeted and not accepted. Harry, dear, dear Harry, she had a fair chance and all the support one could reasonably afford! Everyone in the public eye gets bad press now and then, but Meghan blew it out of proportion on an epic scale. You both could have just bowed out gracefully if it wasn't her cuppa ....

My opinion is that Meghan was shocked when less than positive stories about her behavior, high expenses, and clashes with staff and family started making public rounds. She fully expected the Royal Family to censor the press from covering her in any negative way, and that can't be done! Every public figure has had good and bad headlines in their lives. Even Duchess Kate was taunted by stories and her privacy grossly invaded with inappropriate photos being printed in a European tabloid. The difference with Meghan is her epic tantrum about not being able to control the media to review her only in a positive light, AND not being able to pressure the Palace into making official statements on her behalf. Bottom line: She did NOT want these stories to get out. So, Harry and Meghan withheld information about their lives and activities costing the journalists hundreds of thousands, if not MILLIONS, and fueled a raging battle. What they did was childish and bewildering, most of all, unprofessional as senior members in the Royal Family. If Meghan was so wounded by the negative press and the family's "lack of support," why didn't she seek counseling through whatever means necessary (and not via the Palace staff HR office), why not appeal to the press directly, or why not funnel this into a focus on the patronages and the *duty* of the British Royal Family? All they had to do was pull off a good charm offensive. All along, all they ever had to do in their position was share measured, discreet pieces about their lives and children so people have a sense of an alliance with them. That would have been the way to regain some trust and to try to work out a strategy for managing the stress of it all so they could have peace on their respective staff teams, and rebuild relationships within their family as well. The way I see it, Meghan and Harry have had their interviews about this topic, they've helped to write a book, and supported a movie about their "escape," and their "finding freedom" in their own words and perspective. It seems this is not enough. The question lingers, will it ever be enough? Even Meghan's Cut interview covertly threatens there was no NDA signed, so she'll be an open book once she's' "healed." I hope no one ever again pays them a CENT for their ridiculous display of disloyalty and short-sightedness, a focus on all the WRONG things in life: discord, gossip, divisions, lack of forgiveness .... I am happy to hear what they are about one day and what they will do with their ENORMOUS privilege to make a difference, *without* marketing themselves to a largely American audience as an aristocratic title (please, just save it for the history books...) who has "tea" on supposed loved ones. It makes them look so unbelievably lacking in any virtue.

I agree. Since she couldn't run the Monarchy the way she wanted, she's determined to destroy it, bit by bit. She tells lies (provable lies) changes it to another lie if caught out, or ignores it completely. What I don't understand is why Harry is silent through all this. Unless he is a complete and total ball-less git, he should stop Meghan, but he won't. Meghan has read him like a book and has fed into his anger issues over his mother's death. She's determined for the world to see her as the second Diana. I'm worried that if she doesn't shut up soon, someone will make sure she ends up like Diana! She needs to stop the threats. There are a lot of loonies out there, and she needs to go quiet. I feel SO badly for the queen. The last few years of her life have been turned upside down, and everything she fought for 70 years to hold together, Meghan is determined to destroy in a few short years.

​@@blondieblue Well said, Pamela. I have mulled over the Harry question for quite some time. Harry clearly was captivated by Meghan and thought of her as a godsend and soulmate. He was that keen on her after their whirlwind African holiday that he was willing to write-off lifelong friends and family who advised him with caution. Despite them rushing to the altar, quite basically, Harry thought this was his fairytale moment now, and Meghan was simply "wanting to hit the ground running" in her own words. A good dose of American optimism and leadership he thought- And here's Meghan taking the lead and he was more than happy to assume second position as he was prepared for all his life. There is something Meghan convinced Harry of, be it more power, more freedom, more glory, with her and her ambitions than with the unique royal work of his birthright. No doubt it involved discussions of his mother's work and legacy, as they still include her in their speeches and production I guess you could say. There was something Meghan must have said or that happened that for him meant he could not support Princes Charles and William as the future monarchs and support Meghan at the same time. And Meghan needed to keep convincing him of this commitment to her and their dream outside of anyone who knows him, maintaining the narrative that they were a successful, powerful couple destined for global prestige without them - hence the exit. Now she is the mother to his children, so there is a sense of loyalty. I think he quite basically saw her "pain" (which I believe are exaggerated responses to the expected difficulties after a honeymoon period with the press and souring relationships after her behavior before/ after the wedding) and he blamed others - family, press, etc. He probably thinks it's all of us who are mad, because Meghan is so great and we aren't giving her a chance. The same thing he's been saying since 2018 when his brother and friends initially cautioned him.

Oh FLIPPIN well Royal Family!!! Meghan's Archetypes Podcasts are excellent and I far prefer her returning to the things she did pre-engagement. I want to hear HER VOICE not some watered down, white-washed, filtered, Kensington/Clarence House 'approved' version of her. Thank heavens Diana raised a son in her own light of 'service' versus the stale one that Charles proposes to continue. Her Majesty The Queen's way was PERFECT for her service to country and the Commonwealth but what I see ahead for the reigns of Charles & William leave a lot to be desired: Misogyny, Outdated Traditions, Tabloid cooperation, Collonialistic tours abroad, Ribbon cutting, Carriage rides, NOT paying their own way, etc. I see far more meaningful work being taken on and highlighted by Harry & Meghan.
