Xena R no. they do not. They're stupid for smoking, but they could be nice people. This makes me so sensitive because I lost someone close to me because of smoking. It is stupid to smoke, but that doesn't mean a person deserves a sickness.

I live with oxygen too, same set up save that I don't have to wear it when I leave the house. Not all the time anyway. I have a disease called Dermatomyositis, a condition affecting the muscles and skin. Diagnosed at age 11, now well into my mid twenties, I know all too well about the complication that these types of diseases bring with them. While I'm not very familiar with cystic fibrosis with your specific struggles I can tell you are a fighter, and a joyful one too. I think it is courageous and inspiring that you too are making the disease you stand for more personable. Hardship should never separate, rather bring use closer to the community as a whole. Keep being who you are, because you are awesome. - Ruth

downthestreetteam i was in the hospital and on oxygen and it was awful. i had a really funny nose and it was super sore and the oxygen tubes hurt a lot :(((

You are so cute and spunky! I am on o2, 24-7. I have the big oxygenator. My o2 co. has a 50 ft. bright green hose, it's easy to see, so I don't trip over it! I also have the inogen, Love it, but seems heavy, but then I'm 75 and not as young as you, lol! I have a rollator and wheelchair when it's needed! Like I say atleast I woke up today!

And I wanted to see more videos because... the reason in the beginning. And this video is great, because I always wondered about oxygen tubes, I also thought they go deeper into the nose and it's a comforting thought to know that they don't :D like seeing a person with one won't be so terrible now, because I'll know they don't have something stuck deep in their nostrils.

I've had that exact thing happen 2 me twice. But at least the holes were so small that it dint affect the o2 output. Thank GOD I keep xtra tubing as well....

This video was very informative; I'm about to start oxygen therapy pretty soon, so this helped me get an idea of what to expect. My lung collapsed suddenly (it collapsed about 45%), without explanation a few years ago, along with several surgeries to "fix it" and it's never healed or got better (they suspect a rare genetic disorder). So I'm really looking forward to receiving oxygen; thank you for taking the time to make this video. I wish for the absolute best for you

She said she can go like 40 minutes without it sitting down but if she's exerting energy is more like 5 minutes - so she either takes super short showers, showering doesn't use much energy, or she just wears it in there ( the end of the tube is in her nose so if she's careful it won't fill with water and the actual tube is super strong and sturdy so it's most likely safe in there) :)

I have Cystic Fibrosis as well. And I have to say my oxygen tube does the same thing!! I won't even move and I swear it grows legs and knots itself up lol. My bf and his kids trip on the tube all the time. Sadly I do too lol. Usually when I'm trying to drag the 50 feet of it with me and I don't hold it high enough. It is so nice to see someone upbeat and being comfortable with everything that we have to do. I'm 23 now but I was diagnosed at 10. I wasn't always as understanding about what I needed to do to stay healthy. I struggled a lot my teenage years with how I felt about myself and how I felt about having CF. Now I am happy with myself and I do what I need to do to stay healthy for my family and for myself. :)
