The Mongols under Genghis Khan would be united and eventually conquer an empire that stretched from the Pacific to the Caspian Sea. When Genghis Khan died he would be succeeded by Ögedei Khan, Güyük Khan, and Möngke Khan who would all expand the Mongol realm until they fell into civil war between Ariq Böke and Kublai Khan which would begin decentralizing the empire eventually leading to its fall.
