Interesting perspective. I find that any type of movement or "religion" can be very triggering for ocd, because of the intense expectations and obligations tied into them. Let go of it all. That meditation book called 30 Days to Stop Obsessing by Harper Daniels was great as well as the Tao Te Ching.

Shows like criminal minds, Chicago pd, law and order svu and crime documentaries or videos affected me. It made me think a lot. I never realized how bad it could get so it makes sense

Oh god, that absolutely happened to me after I watched “Baby reindeer”. 😅 I absolutely lovev the series but then I was like “OMG.. did I force this friend of mine 10 years ago to kiss me and that’y why he’s not answering on whatsapp today?” 😐

Chrissie, could you make a video talking about whether we choose to develop an intrusive thought once we feel it in the background. Because I feel that I consciously developed the thought and I’m not sure why? I’m sure I did choose to develop the thought. I honestly don’t know and it’s thrown me in to a horrible depression.

Me too is necessary. But it sure causes a great deal of anxiety, animosity, fear and resentment in relations between men and women. As for me, well it triggered a difficult questionning around my sexual/romantic orientation. I can't seem to relate with women the way I do with men, which is a sad realization. But maybe all this is just my mind tricking me.
