So the “functionality” is basically being able to move the paper up and down. But it doesn’t actually type letters. Which makes sense because then you would need ink at least. Still very cool! Trying to find a set on discount for Black Friday atm!

I am so annoyed. My slider gets half way and then stops 😢 I carried on building as someone else said it sorted its self out once built. But mine hasn’t. Then I came to see if it just doesn’t go all the way along, but no; in this video it goes a lot further! I guess I am taking that apart and loosening the gears….?! But then why would it work for half of it and not the other half!

Do you know why the lever thing is getting stuck when I pick the keys and the toothed gear stops turning after like 5 clicks

i just spun/played with with the grey spinning piece that has the long blades on it. after a while the carriage started moving all the way down correctly again

Is the middle row of keys more clicky than the rest?
