    Hi Architect Ed, yes that's true and now they're using it in the States. Sayang di natin Alma apply sa atin dahil napakamahal ang treated wood at maraming anay sa atin due to our environmental problem at sikit-sikit ang mga bahay.

    Sir Ed, sa japan ako, OFW. There's 1 house being constructed sa tapat namin, it's exactly as how you described it. Ang bilis lang, tsaka I was wondering bakit hindi nag-iingay, wala palang pinapako at minamartilyo dito. Tapos 1 week later ang laki na ng structure. Pangarap ko magtayo ng Japanese style house sa nabili kong lote sa pinas. Pero I have no clue where to start. Baka po may leads kayo. Thank you for this content po

    Texture po ang importante na hindi alam ng marami. Iba ang texture ng wood construction kaysa sa concrete construction. Mas malamig sa mata ang texture ng wood construction. Almost the same construction system sa U.S. Foundation which is concrete then above concrete is where they started the walling.

    In my opinion the old Philippine Ancestral House will be better because it only has wood construction on the second floor which is good para Hindi prone sa anay. I have my house under construction sa Lakeshore, Pampanga which has this concept and the result is very very good I should say.

    Yes po meron, lalo na yung mga lumang bahay (abandoned akiya) na ni rerenovate nila. Pero base sa mga napanood kong videos ng Japanese Akiya renovation, madali lang nila napapaltan yung mga na-anay na kahoy ng bahay.
