Justin Timberlake ’s No. 1 fan? His wife, Jessica Biel, of course.
The “Mirrors” singer is gearing up to drop Everything I Thought It Was - his first new solo music since 2018 - and Biel is behind him 100 percent, a source exclusively tells PEOPLE in this week's issue.
Justin "just had this urge to create again. It was time. He’s been super into it, and Jess has been supportive,” the source tells PEOPLE of Timberlake, who turns 43 on Wednesday, and Biel, 41. "She's proud."
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel's Relationship Timeline
"She loves his new music,” the source adds of the album, which is due March 15. “She finds him very talented. They are great together.”

    No he was mainly seen as the most talented member of nsync since they began so yeah. That was why. I was a huge fan of both when I was younger of them but I didn’t even know until I was like an adult that he even dated Britney Spears. It wasn't put on blast as much as it would be today. Though imagine it helped don't get me wrong. Justin was also doing like side acting jobs where he would just have like smaller rolls in so he kind of established himself and those areas as well so he’s just had more exposure because of that as well.

    @@ang3lica2kNo offense, but I call bs. #1. Everyone knew that he was dating Britney Spears. So if you were as big of a fan as you say that you were, you would have known that. I didn't even like Britney Spears back then, nor boy bands bands, and I even knew about them dating. #2. You can definitely attribute his career taking off due to his breakup with Britney seeing that the VERY FIRST song/video released on his solo album was the song "Cry Me a River" and had a very obvious Britney Spears look alike in the video. He did the same thing with the next album with the song "What Goes Around" and again had a look alike Britney Spears being played by Scarlett Johansson. It wasn't until YEARS, probably like 10+ years later did he finally come out and say that the "What Goes Around" video wasn't about Britney Spears, but it was about a close friend of his, and their relationship/breakup. Saying that it was in fact Elisha Cuthbert that it was about, and not Britney. But the damage had already been done to Britney. She released the song "Everytime" as a sort of apology video to his and their relationship, when in reality, he should have been the one to apologize to her for cheating on her several times while they dated, encouraging her to get an abortion, and then breaking up with her because she kissed someone. Not even close to his indiscretions. Before you go and defend him, he's a serial cheater. He cheated on Cameron Diaz, and he cheated on his wife Jessica Biel with his co-star Alisha Wainwright and with Olivia Munn. Pictures are online and not hard to find, as well as the interview with Olivia talking about her affair with Justin and how he had led her on.

    Since you're so young, it might be hard to imagine how huge Janet was before 2004 and how this destroyed her career for decades (it's likely a factor in her hit single streak coming to an end and record sales stalling). I never realized what a creep Justin is until I read Jessica Simpson's book. According to her, when they were auditioning for the Mickey Mouse show together, Justin made a bet with Ryan Gosling that he'd be the first one to kiss her. Years later, after her divorce from Nick, Justin was over at her house one night and they kissed. Justin immediately took out his phone to text Ryan that he won the bet. They were 12 when they made that bet so this was over a decade later. Justin was an immature player through and through.

    Hiii "elder millennial" here who actually lived through Justin's career from N'sync onwards- I want to make a small correction and say that while Justin was popular during the 20/20 experience it absolutely paled in comparison to the cultural impact of future sex love sounds. That album was considered groundbreaking and had a lot of critical acclaim that legitimized Justin and had people comparing him to Michael Jackson and calling him the greatest artist of our time. 20/20 experience was just a cool album with a lot of hits but didn't have the impact FSLS did- the misperception might be due to recency bias but I had to stop the video and correct this misconception. I was a huge JT fan until he said that. I could understand that he made mistakes while he was young and while he hurt Britney, I don't think that was his intention, I thought he learned and he was truly apologetic, especially after the Free Britney movement and I thought his apology was heartful but now, I just think he's full of sh*t. @@talia-rosediorio that's how most labels work. justin was a cash cow for jive at the time, of course they would put more backing towards him over jc. it's a shitty practice, but it's not justin's fault his music was gaining traction. also, the first single from schizophrenic was released months after justin's last single from justified. their album rollouts had no overlap, jive just wasn't confident in jc's project and that's sad, but again, not justin's fault. regarding jc's pro bowl performance getting cancelled, if it was any artist who was gonna perform songs as risqué as 'some girls dance with women,' or 'blowin me up (with her love),' they most likely would've been axed as well because of the nfl wanting to keep a clean image following the super bowl incident. jc's association with justin was merely a coincidence. they literally offered him to do the national anthem instead, but he refused. justin and their manager johnny wright definitely should've told the rest of the band that he wasn't going to return sooner, that i agree on, but i think that was more out of cowardice than malice. i do think there was a plan for justin to return to *nsync, and he repeated as such in promotion for his solo album. however, the response to justified was way too big for justin to go regress in a fading niche (boy bands) instead of moving forward in his solo endeavors.

    I would love Janet Jackson to make a comeback! I know she's doing a tour now but I would love to see new music from her if she wanted to. My primary issue with the narrative that Nipplegate was planned is that if you rewatch the clip you can very clearly see her surprised that her breast was exposed and quickly moved to cover up. Also she looked to be wearing a pasty which would make sense if the original idea was to just rip off the black part of the costume to reveal the bra. Justin Timberlake literally could have said anything other than "we're glad to give you guys something to talk about" because that's such a gross statement considering she was basically forced to go on a media campaign to apologize as if JT was never involved. She legitimately slayed the Super Bowl with All for You and Rhythm Nation way before Justin in his average joe clothes showed up. A selfish part of me would love to see Janet do the halftime show again but I understand if she didn’t want to after how she was treated. I've seen clips of her performing recently and she's still got it!

With all the bios I have scene about JT, his mother is absolutely crucial about how he used and abused all the people and women in his life to get to where he needs to. What’s funny is, Justin has done virtually everything possible to avoid confronting his past actions. Using both Britney and Janet’s controversies to elevate himself. He consistently downplayed his role in *NSYNC while the Backstreet Boys did the near opposite and tried to stay together or supportive of each other. Justin realized probably in the late 2008s that if he kept acting like a fusion of Michael Jackson and Nelly, he would become a product of time. This is why between 2007-2016 he embarked on a decade long endeavor to appear in movies just as much as he put out music. He infiltrated children’s shows and cartoons. He was in romantic comedies and action thrillers. Anything to stay relevant. But then came Man of the Woods in 2018. And *everyone woke the hell up* to Justin’s real level of atmosphere. Which was piss poor R&B on post Kanye West life support. Pair that with a marketing campaign that tired to actually sell fans *boots* and flannels. Like Justin had dug up the Lumbersexual fad from 2013/2014/2015 and put old Dad paint over it. Now we are here in 2024. Justin’s past actions combined with his efforts to avoid them have made him a product of time. He’s not seen as talented anymore. He’s seen a man who used Timbaland, cultures, and two women to blast a solo career upwards.

  • @giovanigeorgis3848

    @giovanigeorgis3848

    You might want to reword that. Justin is still considered an R&B legend and the prince of pop. Legendary albums with great songs, but people saw that he was just not really a good person. And MOTW failed because it was something new and different unlike his previous albums, so people hated it.

  • @RocStarr913

    Timberlake’s real mistake with the Man Of The Woods album is that it was basically the same old music using a country gimmick that didn’t really stand up. It’s clear he became more focused on marketing himself rather than making interesting music. It also didn’t help that he was still working with producers he worked before like Timbaland and Pharrell.

The fact that he recently said in a concert "I would like to apologise to f*king nobody" proves it. Besides, wasn't he also canceled because he had an affair and chetead on his wife???

  • @BaileyVogtOut

    I'd say the last piece of the puzzle for why people don't like Timberlake anymore is his 2018 album Man of the Woods. We've seen time and time again that artist's can survive PR disasters if the music is good. If he had gone through the FreeBritney reckoning/Britney Spears biography after an album at the caliber of Future Sex Love or The 20/20 Experience he could have maybe survived. But Man of the Woods was such an underbaked concept that everyone rejected immediately and is probably the start to when people found him cringy. It put him in a losing position.

    It was because he became more focused on marketing than his actual music. He was working with the same people, Pharrell and Timbaland, doing Man Of The Woods and he suffered a diminishing of returns as a result. It’s clear that he lost real inspiration lyrically. He was already married with a child, so where would he go with lyrics?
