what would man utd fans prefer? a club owned by amercans or by saudi arabia which was a distinct possibilty a whie ago- i have supported man utd all my life and i know what i would prefer- the glazers are businessmen and they bought the cklub purely to make money which is what they have done and the value of the club has vastly increased since they took over which must be a good thing - man utd with the glazers in charge have continually spent big money on players which is basically what fans want the most - unforunately the club have been abysmal for the past 10 years owing to poor choices in choosing the right managers, and i doubt very much that the glazers would have played any part in choosing those managers - remember it was alex ferguson who tied the clubs hands by coming out in support of his old mate david moyes and it has all gone downhill from there -old trafford looks a bit tatty and could do with some money being spent on it- big deal- is that really what man utd fans care about?football fans used to only care about the fortunes of their club on the pitch but now, apparently, they are all financial experts who rattle on about how businesses should be run- man uted will inevitably get rid of ten haag at the end of this season and the club's fortunes will depend on which manager they choose to employ-it will be nothing to do with how the glazers are running the club

In Man United, the managers are mostly the scapegoat for club’s problems. It is easier to criticize bad results on the field than bad policies behind the scene. When you hire all kinds of managers with different calibre and still cannot produce success, they should have sit down and think of how they get all wrong. But this is Glazers, as long as the money still goes to their pocket, why give a shit?

The Glazer story is simply a lame duck. The issue with today's MUFC is mostly the "stupid fan base". It's not like that only stupid people support the club or that the individual supporter is stupid. It's whole package. MUFC has a huge fan base that enables them to struck lucrative deals and earn shitloads of money for merchandise and services without the need to have success in the sporting domain. Fans are eager to spend and therefore the club can completely ignore their moaning. Secondly the size of the fan base makes it heterogeneous and easy to divide and to manipulate. This problem is also fueled nicely by the different media outlet including fan channels that prosper by constant conflict and discussion. There is simply no unity in the MUFC fan base. Thirdly this heterogeneous group was always ready to look for the short fix - buying a star player - and rewarding it by spending money on shirts and other merchandise (including third party businesses). Managing this environment requires to pay the main attention on the mentioned shenanigans and ignore the core business of modern professional football. The Glazers are merely the facilitators of disease stricken club - that is rotten to it's core - the fan base.
