Imagine how the galaxy would’ve turned out had Vitiate not sued for peace after sacking Coruscant and instead fully obliterated the center of the republic

Exar Kun's disregard for the stablished order is just amazing. The guy simply landed on CORUSCANT of all places with a bunch of savage warriors, release a war criminal, murder the SUPREME CHANCELLOR live on TV, defeats his own master and them leaves like It wasn't even a big deal. He had BALLS OF DURASTEEL for sure.

I understand the reference.

Marka Ragnos, Naga Sadow, Exar Kun, Vitiate; It is intriguing that we know more about the lineage of the Dark Lords of the Sith than the Grandmasters of the Jedi. Also, this series is soon reaching the point where we get to Revan and KotOR.

Jedi don't do much, at least not without a lot if prompting by outside forces, and thus are primarily a reactive agent in galactic events. And the order usually acts as a unified force when they do. Sith on the other hand by their very nature are extremely pro active in their ambitions and goals. Any Sith lord worthy of the title will at least be the grand tyrant of a world, the inventer or perfecter of some horrifying Dark Side technique, and in the greatest/worst cases will plunge the entire galaxy into a devastating war.

Everyone involved with this project is doing such a great job.

Yeah, that's a big oversight. The firestorm of Yavin IV was triggered by the the clash of vast amounts of light and dark side energies, with the Jedi trying to contain and strip Kun of the Force, and Kun trying to carry out a Force drain ritual to escape as a empowered Sith spirit. Instead, he ended up being denied the freedom to move and was trapped within the Massassi temples

3:35 it was 4,200 BBY, as 2,400 BBY would’ve been before the new sith wars, which by that point the reconstituted sith empire was gone and Naga Sadow had already been dead for thousands of years

Lucky you, although... it unfortunately reminds me of the leaks of Disney's Amphibia "True Colors" and The Owl House "Separate Tides/Escaping Expulsion" though. Seriously, please stop leaking for our sakes, people.

This is going to be a series of wars that the Sith will haunt the Galaxy forever, and no doubt that the Sith Emperor was currently waiting and gathering his strength to strike against all of his enemies.

Of course it losses its luster when the whole thing pretty much is because the Jedi were idiots. Exar Kun starts poking around the Darkside and they just shrug it off, Ulic Qel-Droma wants to do an increasingly dumb infiltration plan and they let him do it.

Foerost must be the least or worst defended Shipyard in the Galaxy. Everybody and their uncle has conquered it at some point.

I'm so happy many of those in the comments not only know who Exar Kun is but are also fans! So many people don't give him the respect he deserves even if what we know about the whole affair is admittedly short. He was the spark for everything that came after. Utterly fascinating and why he's my favorite Dark Lord of the Sith out of them all.

We need a movie, game or series for this time period. It's so great

I think the vong in the EU damn near killed half of the known Star Wars galaxy if you want to count that in there I think the death toll of our known portion of the Star Wars universe was in the trillions from that war

If you're referring to Naga, I think he kept himself alive that long via occasionally using a stasis sarcophagus. I'll have to look it up...

Nomi Sunrider wasn't involved in the beast wars, She was with her husband Andur and their young daughter Vima on H'ratth. The fellow Jedi who was with both Ulic and Cay Qel-droma was a Twi'lek Tott Doneeta when they first arrived to Onderon.

He’s considered the most powerful Sith Lord of all time but that’s just because everyone who’s become one with the Force is needed to keep him in Chaos. Everyone who’d been wronged by Vitiate was needed to keep him in Chaos and Vitiate was a less skilled duelist. However Sidious’ force powers are insignificant compared to Vitiate’s. Plus Palpy’s lightning was nowhere near as strong as Vitiate’s

Sidious may have ultimately destroyed the republic, but I don’t think he was nearly as powerful as Vitiate. Vitiate after all destroyed an entire planet and used his people’s life energies to allow him to live on for thousands of years, not to mention his immense mastery of the force itself. He was able to dominate and turn both Malak and Revan with just a thought.

Imagine a Dark Avatarish Disney + series call disciples of the dark side starting off with the Rakatan Empire’s rise , their use of the dark side on screen would be depicted as confusing, astonishing, and horrific even to true Star Wars fans and the abilities they use in the first season never being explained at all until after slowly progressing into all of the the original Dark Jedi and Sith leading up to exar kun with kun getting his own movie then maybe even Original Mandolorians to go along with what we’re going to get from the already established series The Mandolorian and then boom we have a epic new Star Wars show off different art styles, different environments, and world building showing Humans and everything else as Slaves to these force wielding psychopaths only to eventually over throw them and slowly slip into the side of the force they used to conquer them and the birth of the whole culture that is Sith (lightsabers didn’t exist) Disney could go crazy with all of the force pikes protosabers force sabers the hound would be a perfect main character or one of the main characters for the series and he uses and saber completely powered from the dark side Disney is throwing away their jackpot of free range if they pass on at least doing something similar to this the original trilogy and clone wars won’t have anymore room for anything new at the rate their going they should really start watching the Star Wars community or reading comments and taking our ideas

The Droid Revolution was basically "The organics enslaved us, now let's kill them all and rule ourselves in their absence." So yes, the Jedi tried to stop the droids from killing everyone else.

The Jedi really need to stop doing Conclaves in particular. They're always getting killed by droves every time they do so.

One problem in the time-line. If as you say the Massassi were wiped out on Yavin4, then who did your character fight during your time in that world during the SWTOR SOR timeline?

​@@michaelandreipalon359 The way Exar Kun can't call on light side abilities after arriving on Yavin and fully giving himself over to Freedon Nadd, and can only now use the force through the dark side is a weird inconsistency, and there's lots of weird stuff like that in TotJ. The overall galactic story that it tells is what makes it great.

For the first Jedi team, wrong padawan. It was Tott Doneeta and the Qel-Droma brothers first. Nomi didn’t show up until Omnin and the Naddists posed a threat. And Kun turned twenty Jedi to the Dark Side, not hundreds. And they used the supernova to loot Ossus

Legends describes it as a Jedi creating an pure wall or barrier of light side energy that surrounds the individual which shields them from the force. However the sith/dark side users have their own means either through raw power or through sith rituals such as when Vitiate used a ritual to strip the force from the entire planet Nathema.
