How The Crow Killed Brandon Lee

Фильм және анимация

The Crow is a movie which was a troubled production from start to finish. Lot's of things went wrong during the making of the crow but ultimately the worst thing was the death of it's star Brandon Lee.
But what happened on this movie? what things contributed to his death. These are the questions I will answer about The Crow. If you're a fan of the movie, comic or Brandon Lee then I've got you covered because I'll be examining all of it.

I had no idea Brandon fought so hard for the movie or was such a professional on set. It's such a tragedy, but also so iconic. When I was young and introduced to this movie, it was almost a supernatural feeling watching the film for the first time. Brandon Lee really helped create something meaningful in so many ways 🖤

It surprised me as well. There's a lot of actors who fight for their movies but sadly their efforts are mostly unreported, I think it's something I'll be sure to highlight when I cover movies in this kind of way in future

Great assessment of the many tragedies during the filming of The Crow. I don't think many people understand the importance of the movie, upon its release in 1994. Just a different point in time. You earned yourself a new follower Lee 👍🏼

I was 12 years old when The Crow came out and remember throughout the 90s (and even early 2000s) that it was a significant cult classic and an important piece of gothic culture. I grew up on metal and grunge (Slayer, Metallica, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Type O Negative etc.) so this movie should have been on my list but I never watched it in its entirety. A few days ago the Critical Drinker posted a video praising The Crow, having watched it recently for the first time as an adult. Last night I decided to do the same and loved it. When you factor in the low budget and all the issues, it's even more impressive how well this film holds up, even by modern standards. As for Brandon - when the movie was over, I was a little emotional. It brought back some memories from back then and hearing about his death. Now I'm learning more about him. What a fuckin' tragic loss of not only a genuinely good person, but, like his father, a fireball of talent and potential. We can only imagine the possible rad movies he would have starred in. Very sad. I'm going to watch it again and share it with my nieces. I think they'll love it. Thanks for the video.

I have been watching your content for a few months, and now I'm getting recommended this older content of yours. I absolutely love that movie, it was awful that a man of twenty eight passed away all because someone had not done their job correctly! My children are now adults and I watched the movie and I have to say that both my sons were very upset that a man at the beginning of his acting career was lost forever! The actor that had shot him had no reason no worry about aiming the weapon and pulling the trigger as he wouldn’t even consider that any issues had occurred, I feel bad that his life has been altered due to the complete lack of checking all weapons! Cocaine causes major problems with concentration, normal working doesn’t happen people make big mistakes, I know first hand how it affects the brain, cocaine would also cause accidents etc! RIP Brandon Lee.
