I would say it is stopping of diesel by maruti and then brezza diesel buyers shifted towards nexon diesel.

YOU MISSED THIS: 1. When Nexon got 5-star, the next day Tata gave a full-size front page ad where Nexon was being crashed. There were 5 stars below it and it was written safest car of India. That's it. They didn't mention any other spec. This ad led to my father purchasing a Nexon. Before that he was considering Brezza. 2. During Lockdown people were spending time on KZread and exploring content they were never interested in and those crash videos played a big role. People like car accidents, and these accidents were of Nexon and this led to huge publicity. 3. Rise of Nationalist sentiments 4. Ratan sir donating 1500Cr during COVID. 5. Galwan valley incident. 6. Phrases like "Desi loha" "Desh ka loha" were trending. These are the reasons that I have personally observed and these reasons impacted a lot of people.

There were days when people ask only about mileage & annual maintenance price when anyone bought a car in their locality or in their family & friends list. But now people are considering safety just because of the accident videos in youtube which are most happening everywhere. Even if anyone is responsible driver who maintain mostly 70-80 speed with a low built quality car have a chance to get collided with an opposite vehicle with more than 100-120 speed. One can easily imagine what will happen in that scenario as driver is aware of safety measures, but opposite person will not be in the same mindset. Accidents can happen in any manner or by any kind of mistake from anyone & even when animals rush suddenly on the roads. Just because if someone is buying a car for low maintenance then one can pay heavily for the upcoming circumstances. And everyone know how Indian made cars are built when compared to remaining cars in the market. If everyone are inclined only to mileage figures then how can showrooms for Indian companies will spread in every rural areas ! If showrooms are few in number then there will be a automatic delay in service centers too. Because people are heading a step to go with Indian cars just because they are aware of the safety reason on which they have seen real time accidents on roads & as well as in youtube.

The main reason for the increase in sales is Nexon facelift. The younger generation loved the look of the new Nexon and its road presence.

Old Nexons looks and features were not loved by many people when compared Brezza and etc and that is why Tata launched Nexons Facelift between 2020-2021 which was then appreciated by many and hence the sales started increasing rapidly

Yup I'm getting 25+ kmpl on good road condition without/occasionally AC (Obviously because of the weather not because I'm a tightwad😂).

I own a Nexon XZ+. Of course there are some lags (like features, refinement) still it performs very well on any terrain. Giving me 17 kmpl mileage with Petrol engine. Proud owner

@@shivanshsrivastava9279 I have 2023 nexon for myself and altroz 2023 for wife. My god, the noise is so silent, i cant ever hear sitting inside car. BS 6 phase RDE version is what you should get. I think I should have waited for Altroz CNG. Both nexon and Altroz have 1st gear lags, i mean less acceleration if you dont put pressure on pedal, otherwise not much problems are there in improved versions. Just remember to buy any car which is not newly launched, it should have 2-3 earlier versions in market. because you might know about the problem car is bringing to you. Altroz gets very dirty from back. Altroz design is perfect in hatchback. Its safest hatchback and get turbo version for improved acceleration

Sir Ratan tata donating 1500crore during the pandemic was the best marketing tata Motors can ask for. People perception about tata motors changed overnight, including my father.

@@kooler999ify 20 horsepower vs which car? Nexon diesel is around 110 ps, seltos/creta is around 115 ps. Unless you're talking about the old 1.6 engine in which case you are almost right, but seltos doesn't have that engine so it's not an option to compare w.r.t OP's comment.

@@chethankumar762 if brezza was available with diesel engine, I don't think so tata would dominate the segment, and I have a Ford ecosport 2020 petrol automatic, the refinement of the Ford engine is better than tata, and it comes with proper DCT unlike Nexon's AMT and the build quality of brezza and ecosport is close to the Nexon, Nexon is only the segment leader because it has a lot of variety and the competition like Ecosport is not present and brezza's engine are more towards economy compared to it's diesel counterpart which was punchy and at the same time economical.

TATA NEXON earned it, TATA WORKED for it, and it deserve all good things. I respect TATA for making such a vehicle which surpass global standards. Will buy one in future also.

I think you missed one major point responsible for the exponential growth of Nexon (overall tata) that is the galwan valley incident , after that the vocal fo local movement literally boomed thus thinking of Indian consumers towards Indian brands changed drastically.btw you're doing great 👍

The launch of Punch also pushed nexon's sell, because people will go to buy Punch as it's a low priced but then the sellsman will push for purchasing Nexon instead of purchasing punch top variant and all. Its like a ladder strategy of Iphones. Kudos to marketing strategies of Tata 👌

I own Nexon EV Max. Tata has really put great efforts in improving the EV. They provide regular software updates. This EV is value for money. Tata employees follow ethics and integrity. Having worked at TCS at the start of my career, I appreciate their values. There is very less chance that they will cheat you or lie to you. Tata is 'desh ka bharosa' ❤❤❤

Yeah tata train their employees so well that many dedicate their life to serve tata grp evident incident when Taj was on attack the whole hotel staff took it to their responsibility to protect guests and some even formed human chain to protect them during open fire but their this ethics are certainly not visible in their automobile sector

Every person in India if they see the name TATA they will buy it blindly , that's the trust they build in all these years

I bought my Nexon because its XZ+ variant made more overall sense than my 2nd choice i.e. XUV 300. And here's my verdict after owning it for one year- the car is actually built tough. Mine survived a somewhat fatal accident. However, TATA needs to upskill their mechanical workmanship. Also, they need to introduce the market to four-cylinder engines.

I think 3-cylinder engines are the future for small and medium size cars keeping emission norms and taxation in mind, but yes Tata engines need to be improved which they are doing like VW and Mahindra with their GDI(Gasoline/Petrol Direct Injection) engines which would be more refined and efficient than current MPFI(Multi Point Fuel Injection) engines. Still Tata needs to improve Sales and After Sales service experience, I hope they're continuously Improving

Nexon changed the game for Tata Motors and they have so many absolute beasts under development (Curvv, Sierra, Avinya, NexonFacelift etc.)

There are various things you notice in TATA cars, or you might call them 'easter eggs'. There are various animals mentioned on TATA vehicals. This is a comment I noticed on one of Faisal's vlog about Altroz. > User 'UK Y' says : The subtle naming of the birds and animals of indian wildlife from Tata vehicles has started with Tiago with 3 elephants embossed on the inner glovebox lid. The Nexon has 2 tigers on the rear windscreen, and the Harrier sticks to the feline theme with a lion engraved on each of the headlights and a depiction of what seems like a lioness and her cubs on the rear window. The upcoming HBX- Timero gets an indian Rhino. I appreciate Tata doing this, as the endangered species of our wildlife is very important to be conserved.

Since, we all know how painful covid was.. people lost their loved ones and it was common seeing negative effects all over the country.. I think after that people preferred safety over anything else..

As a nexon owner with 27k km down on it and having had like 5-6 collision ( despite very safe, conservative driving ) I agree with the safety ( my car literally crashed into the near of an jcb and I made it out alive without getting a single scratch ( windshield and bonet eas heavily damaged though)) and getting decent mileage 17-18 I see why it is selling like pan cakes

Bhai mastt gaadi hai nexon abhi 2months 3000km ki road trip kari .... Mazza aa gya daily din bhar chalane ke baad bhi kuch khas thakan nhi hoti ..... Shocking thing was milage 20.43kmpl on mix of Highway and sometimes bad roads here and there ...... Ek chote strech par bahgaya bhi 150kmph, ek dam mastt bilkul stable .... Totally satisfied

The technical upgrades and the proof in the new variants had helped. The next reformation needed is the mindset of the dealer touch points who needs to be more customer focused. A revamp of service centers will catapult TATA into a larger scale

Bahot saare factors hain sales ke. But ultimately point yahi hai ki premium hatchback ke price me safest compact SUV offer kar rahi TATA. Under 10 lacs me bahot accha package hai Nexon. And that's the reason that it's just behind the Baleno now.

Nexon 2020 facelift is true almost perfect like 2-3 galtiya nikalo to nikle warna per,fect car hi thi to uska asar bhi 2021 me pada tha jese jese awareness badhi Aur galtiya thi nikalo to headlight throw, infotainment system and AMT transmission was not good other than that usko perfect car banne se koi nahi rok sakta tha

To abhi competition hai hi kha ev me. Tata khud hi khel rha hai khud hi jeet rha hai. Mg zs ev 25 lacs ki hai. 10-15 lacs ke bracket me kisi company ne ev nhi nikali hai. Mahindra ki xuv 400 ab aayi hai. It's just tata's monopoly on that. So it's obvious that it is going to sell more. Cuz it's not facing any sort of competition from rivals.

1. 5 Star safety rating - many popular video showing accident in which Nexon has no to none damage and other car is looking like smashed tomatoes. 2. Refreshed look - many people miss this, but Nexon has the perfect balance of bold, modern, and elegant look. And it somewhat resembles Range Rover Evoque. 3. Variant - Nexon has so many variants, that a variety of people with different income groups can afford it. Lower varients has enough to please lower income buyer and higher varient has enough features to please the higher-income buyer. 4. Kept Refreshing Nexon with new editions - Kaziranga edition is for top varient but it brings all new seats and even different interior color and the same done with dark red edition. 5. Tata's image around the country is respected and loved, this helps in boostin overall public image. The only one thing which I don't like about nexon is its Petrol engine. I have 2022 nexon and on paper its powerful but in real life its not so fun. Lower end lacks power and whenever turbo hits it doesn't feel peppy its kinda okay at best.

There was once a time my nexon was stuck in traffic and it was hit by a bus just behind may be he took his foot of brake or something, the car went 1-2 foot ahead and I was thinking that I would have take it to body shop but only a minor bump of 1-2 cm happened and the car was fine. That is the defining feature of Nexon. i bought it as a noob driver and thinking about safety and by god this has been one of the best decision of my life. Yeah sometime mileage sucks but it will pale everytime when compared against safety.

One other factor is the lower waiting period as compare to other companies due to semi conductor shortage. Tata supply chain has managed very well in that shortage and tata cars were readily available while there was high waiting period for other cars.

I bought Nexon xz+ in 2022 Aug, after a lot of research on different Sub-4 meter SUVs. Was interested in Venue coz of more features, better engine refinement etc, but uncompromising 5* NCAP safety rating and a little bit of nationalist sentiments pushed me to buy Tata Nexon. Was initially worried about Tata cars having problems after sales, bad customer service etc that I observed/heard in KZread, blogs and from some friends. Been using Nexon for past 8 or so months and did not face any problem whatsoever. Also it looks like Tata is putting lot of efforts to improve their after sales customer experience. I'm satisfied by it. So far zero regrets and actually starting to appreciate my decision. Have actually pushed my friend to purchase Nexon when he was also researching on Sub-4m SUVs and he bought it. He is also delighted with Nexon. Happy to see Indian brands with good products

Bhai pehley Nexon mey engine issue Aya tha 2018-19 version mey.... Tata calls back its majority sold Nexon and then repaired.... Pls add those info as well.

Well hme Tata or Mahindra ko support krte rehna chahiye kyunki Hyundai, Kia, Honda or Toyota jaise brands unke home country ke support ki wajah se hi aaj itne bde brands bne hain

Now only one thing remain to improve which is engine performance. They are good but need to be more peppy..

Riding experience and handling quality is also a plus point for Nexon. Very less body role. Seats are comfortable. Commanding driving position.

Can it happen that the car which is sent to NCAP testing has different build quality than the one which reaches customer after securing a good NCAP rating? Asking in general for all car brands..

Really enjoyed this video, this is all about the growth of Nexon. It is clearly the best selling compact SUV, and will remain the best seller. It's new gen model is on the way and will destroy the sales numbers of Brezza too.

I think ur wrong here, the mindset of a Brazza buyer and a nexon buyer are very different.. on one hand Brezza is a very calm car whereas nexon is kinda opposite of it..

Safety before Mileage, jaan hain to jahan hain, hope more and more people will understand this as time goes on. Maruti/ Hyundai - Indian market is changing, try to make more safer cars.

Bought nexon in October 2021 after that its sale is increasing every month happy that i have chosen the best for my family.
