This actually makes a lot more sense then how it was done in the anime in my opinion. Supposedly Goku and Vegeta couldn't flat out gain significantly more power through training anymore at that point so Vegeta taking a small trip to the time chamber and going from getting humiliated by Rose to humiliating Rose was pretty hard to believe. Entertaining to watch don't get me wrong but it doesn't make as much sense as this does.

It was specifically stated that normal training wasn't having as big of an impact on them anymore, they were reaching their limit...its the whole reason why the tournament of power put a big emphasis on going beyond/breaking through their limit.

Either way I’m way happier with the fact that they got a power up and decided to work on efficiency rather than just their raw stats to win. Brings back one of the best forms (in my opinion) and shows how it can be useful even if it’s used much later on, more so works as a good new base transformation rather than super saiyan

7:20 funny how energy blasts in dragonball ONLY put holes in villains when they can regenerate. Cell got his arm blown off against vegeta and his torso against goku. Buu there’s too many to count. Zamasu with this kamehameha. Moro got his arm blown off by goku’s kamehameha. But any enemy that cant regenerate they either tank it or just bleed and have scratches 😭

Ssg deserved more panels. Instead of switching from ssg to ssb, Vegeta should’ve made it more powerful than Black’s rose, then went to blue to finish off Black. Heck Vegito should’ve warmed up with ssg, then went to blue to seal the deal.

Toriyama confirmed Namekians are hermaphrodites like real slugs in an interview Viz conducted w/ Akira Toriyama for the June 2006 issue of their now-defunct Shonen Jump print magazine. Specifically from Issue 43 from July 2006, I would give you a link but KZread doesn’t like that and would delete my comment. There was also an interview with Takao Koyama that confirmed that Namekians are hermaphrodite male and do have sexual organs, female genitalia in their throat and male genitalia in their lower regions.
