Its like a Movie... Even the Path to Victory during the World Cup was great Losing 1st Match to lose High stake 36 Run... then to given hope by non other than Messi in 2nd Match with a Goal and an Assist Nearly losing the Winning game with Netherlands and to given hope at Final when they defeated 3-0 Croatia and even winning France at 1st half. losing 2nd half, given hope by Messi goal on 108th minute. A goal that seemed too Perfect to be true, a Goal that was written in The Stars. That seemed to be how Messi will save Argentina. But FATE had other Plans. France getting another Penalty, and Argentina once again saving the Most Important Save in any Match ever by Martinez at 123rd Minute. But then DREAM BECAME REALITY AT THE END.

I'd never thought he will at least gets that World Cup gold medal in his stellar career. Back to 2016 in Facebook I heard him retires from NT after lose 3 finals in a row. At that time I was like, "okay it's over, he might never win a silverware for his nation." Then he came back and saved Argentina on the brink of not making WC in 2018. Got dunked by teen Mbappes in R16, beaten by home team Brazil at Copa America 2019. It's painful as his fan to experience banter everywhere, be in life or social media. But he, Lionel Messi doesn't give up. At 2019 he even said that this Argentine team is building something beautiful. Fast forward 3 years later, they won 3 finals in a row. What makes it even more special is, they beat Brazil the current CONMEBOL champions, European winning squad Italy and the mighty World Champions France on the run. Wow, imagine losing 3 finals in a row then winning *possibly his 3 last finals in a row. Nothing's more beautiful than this. God is beautiful.

Higuain only played badly in the final, lautaro was awful for the whole tournament.

this argentinian team is for me a true inspiration, not because they won, but for what took them to get there, messi and di maria had lost so many finals for their country, so many people hated them and yet they never gave up, they kept fighting until they made their dreams come true, julian alvarez was a little kid that a couple of years ago took a picture with messi and said that his dream was to play a world cup with him, and this tournament he became messi's right hand, emiliano martinez did a selfie in 2018 supporting the team in russia and said that next time he would be playing for their team, and now he's a hero that did just that, I'm so proud of our heroes, thank you for everything

It was pain and heartbreaking everytime I watch Argentina in 2014 considering that it was only a step from winning the world cup, but now I see it as part of the history that has driven the GOAT to push himself further and eventually achieving what cemented his very own GOAT status. Imagine if he win it in 2014, would he still have the motivation to win more in his club career or winning Copa America?

I don't think it's apt to include club football in this. The reason being, if you lose in one year, you can always win it the next, making revenge much less sweeter. However, when it comes to National team football, there are few opportunities to get redemption and win a prize, and when one does, it's the best feeling. A few examples include- 1) Messi winning the 2022 world cup and the 2021 Copa America (and scoring in every knockout game in wc) after 3 back to back final defeats. 2) Bonucci and Chiellini redeeming themselves in Euro 2020 after being humbled in the Euro 2012 final vs Spain. 3) Lothar Matthaus winning the 1990 World cup, after losing two consecutive finals, and doing it against Diego Maradona's Argentina, a team they lost to in 1986. 4) R9 redeeming himself in the 2002 World Cup and final, after severely underperforming in the 1998 final.

It would be even a much better video if they made it like: showing finale 2008 to 2012 then the same video of 2012 as bayerns loss to 2013 victory and make it also at the same time Lewandowskis 2013 loss and 2020 triumph so you can see like a chain of events at first losing then coming back and when they come back it's also the loss of another stroy so the stories are sometimes connected but we probably don't see it always
