Spoilers for the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, this is the one warning you’re getting so ya better not cry in the comments. After the death of Hiromi Higuruma and the surprising performance he put up against the king of curses, I figured there’s not a more perfect time to talk about his power and capabilities than now. One of the mvps of the culling games and the only sorcerer who learned how to utilize domain and reverse cursed technique within months of just becoming a sorcerer. How strong is he and where does he rank in the world of jujutsu? Today we will see where Higuruma stacks up in comparison to Yuji , Gojo , Sukuna , and other powerful Sorcerers and Curses alike. Hiromi Higuruma is a character in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He is a defense attourney who often took on impossibly difficult cases in order to protect the wrongfully accused. Having since given up on the justice system completely, Hiromi currently participates in the Culling Game as one of the top players. He initially serves as an antagonist of the Culling Game Arc before a change of heart leads him to cooperate with Yuji Itadori. Itadori is the main protagonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He is the son of Jin Itadori and Kaori Itadori, and the grandson of Wasuke Itadori. Yuji was living a normal life in Sendai City until he encountered Megumi and ate one of Sukuna's fingers. After becoming Sukuna's vessel, Yuji began attending Tokyo Jujutsu High alongside Megumi and Nobara as first-year students. Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. It has been serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since March 2018, with its chapters collected and published in 21 tankōbon volumes as of December 2022. The story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers to eliminate a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host. Jujutsu Kaisen is a sequel to Akutami's Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, serialized in Shueisha's Jump GIGA from April to July 2017, later collected in a tankōbon volume, retroactively titled as Jujutsu Kaisen 0, in December 2018. Jujutsu Kaisen is licensed for English-language release in North America by Viz Media, which has published the manga in print since December 2019. Shueisha publishes the series in English on the Manga Plus online platform. Two novels, written by Ballad Kitaguni, were published in May 2019 and January 2020, respectively. A 24-episode anime television series adaptation produced by MAPPA, aired on MBS from October 2020 to March 2021. The anime is licensed by Crunchyroll for streaming outside of Asia, which premiered an English dub in November 2020. The anime's original soundtrack was released in April 2021. Its first part was serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from December 2018 to December 2020; its second part began serialization in Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ online magazine in July 2022. Especially considering how he wouldn't have the same documentation that Jujutsu students have, since cursed spirits and cursed energy are hidden from society in general.
Higuruma doesn’t nearly have the speed and physical feats compared to Gojo. A Yuji with no cursed energy was still able to keep up with him. He’s not special grade level but definitely one of the strongest grade 1s

@@Bread-lh4flhigurumas combat is severely lacking, taking away ct temporarily doesn’t mean much if he’s still gonna get cooked in close combat

@@farsous10 He's capable of putting up a decent fight against Sukuna and withstanding some of his attacks so I'd certainly say he's near if not on that level with his sword being able to one shot anything it pierces.

@@Bread-lh4fl thé entire fight between higuruma and sukuna was to make a point that kusakabe, yuji and the others were protecting him from sukuna because he lacks that combat strength that the others have, even higuruma himself mentioned that he feels like a liability in that department. And once sukuna had him separated from the group he was literally toying with him the whole time, telling him to heal himself if he doesn’t wanna get killed, that’s not a representation of putting up a fight if he had no moment the entire battle where it looked like he could actually stand a chance. What yuji and yuta are doing right now is actually putting up a fight cuz they’re actually dealing damage, and that’s cuz the gap in combat strength those two have compared to higuruma is enormously huge. Like I said his domain’s effect is good but against the top tier characters, removing their ct doesn’t mean much when he can’t be relative to them in combat. He was having difficulty standing a chance vs yuji when his ce removed, imagine with ce

Yh yuta was already special grade because of rika and when he lost her regained his special grade status in 3 months very impressive don’t forget he used rct in his fight with Geto on the spot without anyone teaching him

Hard not to be. He’s an amazing character. I really hope he’s still alive. He’s the only Grade 1 lvl character with Domain expansion, Rct and Domain amplification. He’s actually the only one besides the disaster curse spirits and Sukuna to use domain amp. He had so much potential

Higurumas domain is instantly dispelled after the trial so he doesn’t need the domain to have the executioner blade just the verdict also judgeman decides the outcome of the trial not higuruma
Also you misinterpreted how the crimes work in the domain even if you are a just person even slight offenes can be brought up like littering destruction of property ect so it lowers your chance of a death penalty but confiscation is still on the table

@@guilha1506 Kashimo has his cursed energy, his cursed technique and his cursed tool. So Higuruma activate his domain, he will confiscate Kashimo cursed tool. And we both Know Kashimo will body him in the condition. Kashimo does even need his cursed technique to end Higuruma. The only reason Higuruma even lasted that long, was because of 2 reasons: -Sukuna had an interest of Higuruma CT and wanted to play with him a little. -There were others sorcerers that helped Higuruma and protected him. I get that Higuruma had a huge potential and was very talented, and give him a few more years Who knows how far he will have gone. However right now , it's just boggus to say that he is stronger than Kashimo or he is special grade.
