    37:42 this is gold. we might not agree with one another but the ability to have open conversations shows a lot about ones intellect. Daniel's EQ also very well displayed by diverting the situation once the point was made.

    I think the question should be changed and forwarded to the ladies. "Why wouldn't you want to date men who are lower income than you?" I suppose a lot of men wouldn't mind working alot less for the rest of their life if their wives are high achievers.

  • @jen5138

    @jen5138

    Would these men be willing to stay home to look after the kids though and let their wife earn the big bucks?

  • @lecherhao86

    @lecherhao86

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@jen5138 Why do people assume that it's always the other half, husband or wife, who will have to stay at home when the other half earns alot more or become the main breadwinner in the household? The one with the lower earning power can always still participate in the workforce for passion/interest/ just to stay relevant and engaged in life. When we now have more and more ladies taking up important position in companies, we have to contend with the fact that there will be men earning alot less than the female counterparts. It always those chauvinistic men with huge huge ego who will feel inferior to the ladies. Those who find self confidence not just through their work, but also seek self esteem in other areas of life will be comfortable in their space to let the ladies bring home the big bucks while they can chill and relax with the kids or just earn an average salary. I feel that today's ladies have to change their mindset too that confident and attractive men can appear in all spaces across the workforce spectrum. Even the lower income men might select their industry, their job and roles due to passion, interest, comfort level, and meaning, rather than wanting to always climb the corporate stairs or to earn more. It's a personal choice now since alot of us already have the basic needs met with even average salary. Same goes for the ladies too I assume. So, those powerful ladies earning big bucks can still date lower income men who can attract them with their disposition and characters rather than wealth. Therefore, the question is no longer about why men don't date women who earn the big bucks. The ballgame has changed since It's the ladies who will get choosy about what kind of men they date if they still hold onto the predominant and outdated mindset that men will need to earn more than them in order to for the relationship to be successful. Or to put it simply, some people define success as having more possession and wealth. Nothing wrong with that. But then we couldn't say that it's the men's problem for not wanting to date ladies who earn more. Trust me..alot of men today will want to go for spa, educate their kids, engage in whatever interest, eat good meals etc just like those Tais Tais. Personally I educate my daughter, bring her out, spend alot of quality time with her, on top of my work. Such men like me are aplenty.

    Amongst my closest friends, I used to be the poorest since their parents were GCB kinda wealthy. But then instead of being spiteful ad jealous, take a different approach. I learned about how they became rich and then reevaluate my life choices. It's ok to date someone who is poorer than you, if he is ambitious. The worst kind to date are the ones that have 0 ambition but complain a lot...

    after years of dating probably accumulated like 50 dates in total (a fair share of great and bad ones), one thing i can say for sure is, sg women never date down unless they belong to the group who has literally nothing to offer (physical attraction mostly). Educated ones (english inclined) have the greatest sense of entitlement whereas the lower educated ones tend to be more easy going and genuine in building & experiencing how a relationship should be. "Chemistry, loyal, genuine, trustworthy..." are just a facade to what the real innate desire/dealbreakers are

If I wanted to be nice I would... if I could ? its not a simp thing or a " mr nice guy " thing. I would give the hey I need to go to the to let.... and then sneek to the cashier and pay the whole table even in a group setting?
