The Su-57 is a beautiful fighter, but highly underpowered. It's stealth capabilities are basically non existant, and it's just inferior to, per say, the Raptors.

​​@@amppari_234 true, the su57 is superior to f22 to maneuverability but in the end its one of the best dog Fighters but these days those aren't popular, so the best we can say is the f22 wins cause it's oth radars help it to fire missiles at ranges where its not even visible, the f22 could take out any fighter without ever being visible to any pilot....you can't defeat what you can't see, maybe you can but the f22 you cannot

I say this as someone who's a big fan of modern military aviation but I think there's another story here. The whole point of drones was they're cheaper if lost, cost less to operate, and don't put any pilots at risk. But in this story, while entertaining, a relatively cheap drone was escorted by one of the US's most expensive and technologically advanced fighters. Pilots were risking their lives, a possible international incident, and expensive jets that can't be replaced, for a drone.

Recon saves more lives and money than downing 1 F22. F22s where thare as a deterent since F4s cannot out fight a F22 if the F4s tried anything. If the F22 where not there iran could have plausable deniability that they did shoot or did not shoot down the drone. Also you can have proof for a justified retaliation if they tried anything to the drone

Absolutely LOVE the F-22 & F-35. Definitely #1 & 2 in my top 5 favorite aircrafts.

The thing about stealth is you have to keep all the radars off or they will know your there, so in other words the pilot had to go old school and keep situational awareness his only way to find the Iranian phantoms that’s literally how they sneak up on them, find them using radar from very very far away then shut it off and by using their head and quick math figure out where they should be then whip around and sneak right up on them

This is inaccurate when talking about the type of radar that an F-22 or an F-35 is equipped with. They're AESA radars with LPI (low probability of intercept) capabilities, meaning they change frequencies thousands of times per second, making them almost completely undetectable to all other radars

If the f22 bomb bay doors are open, the stealth capability is loss so, yes the S-500 can maybe get a hit. Those bomb bay doors open for literally 2 heart beats before closing.

It is both correct and possible. F-4 Phantoms use old style radar that is much less effective as modern radar systems. The F-22 has a special design which helps to reflect radar waves in special directions, giving a lower radar profile. It also has special paint that absorb radar waves, so less waves can bounce back. It’s even very effective with modern radar, let alone radar on a 3rd generation fighter. This is a real incident that happened, and, if you still don’t think it’s true, I believe the U.S. made an official report (I may be wrong but I believe they did) and you can check it out for yourself. Please be more educated next time before deciding to say something like this 😊. No hate at all tho! Have a great day!
