    I honestly think the Voyager is my favourite board that I’ve never ridden! I’d love to try it in Dublin with the 90s and the 110s. I totally get what you’re saying about the 110s being more for rough surfaces. I thought my Shuffle S could do some “off roading” until I tried and boy did I quickly realise it wasn’t built for that! 😂 Great video Drew! I’m really enjoying the reviews!

    The Voyager with cyclone wheels is awesome! I can’t wait for my new belts. Already snapped a belt off roading. Overall great board. I love mine. Tbh with the 90 mm the ride really isn’t that bad. The deck does a great job of absorbing bumps.

    @@DrewElia I was just debating (in my head) how practical the hurricane would be. I am at best a 10% offroad / 90% street rider. The Voyager seems to be a 30/70 split board, which is plenty for what I do. In addition a nanbot AT scooter is in my future. It can handle any of my offroad hyjinx. Thanks for the review, It was right on time :)

    The voyager is a range beast, and it is perfect for street use the power and flexy deck is fantastic. These 110 cyclone wheels could be used for “off road” but it’s just ideal. They are super soft and have very good grip. But it can do the trick for those dirt trails in between street riding.

    I mean. That’s kinda apples to oranges, with AT your a 5-7” wheel these are 110mm so it’s definitely smaller, but as far as rocks and cracks I couldn’t care less on these wheels. But that’s for really any wheel above 105

    I measured the diameter of these wheels with a digital caliper (when they were brand new). They are actually 106mm in diameter, not 110mm. Don't get me wrong. I love these wheels, they are very comfortable and very quiet, but they aren't as big as avertised. That does throw off range calculations if you use the chart Meepo provides. I set mine to "97" on the remote for wheel speed setting using the 32T pulleys and 245mm-5M belts and not the charted "88" wheel speed setting. This gives me an odometer reading that almost totally matches Google maps measuring of a given distance give or take a 100 feet or so.

  • @DrewElia

    @DrewElia

    Жыл бұрын

    Yes, there are a lot of wheels that don’t even the contact patch doesn’t measure what actually touches the ground. It’s and overall measurement that is given. I haven’t measured with a digital caliper per say but if it falls in the realm of 108-110 it would be close enough. I know of other wheels that the contact patch that touches that ground is also off a little as well. Thanks for your information and input though! I hope you enjoy the wheels as they are a really good soft wheel!
