Alucard wasn't actually granted immortality by being half-vampire, it's just that everytime Death comes to claim him, Alucard rudely leaves.

The Lesser Demon in the Library is special. Lesser Demons do show up as regular enemies later, but only the one in the Library can summon Mudmen. And that Library Lesser Demon summoning Mudmen is the only way to encounter Mudmen, for those looking to fill out the bestiary

@@FernandoRafaelNogueiraReis that one or the later ones. You can skip the Mini Boss Lesser Demon and still fill out the bestiary Lesser Demon entry with the regular Lesser Demons. Only the Mudmen is the entry you'd miss by skipping the Mini Boss

Yeah, this games plays loose with monster ID. I remember trying hard to get a special (strength?) ring, only dropping from one monster. Welp, turns out it does NOT drop from that monster's 1st placement, only the much later 2nd. They are not really the same monster.

Loved the jokes sprinkled in throughout, and all the details of how to perform each trick and background info were a lot of fun to listen to.

Need me some of those death skips in real life, imagine the grin reaper shows up and you just fly past him so fast from out of nowhere while he's on his way to you that he can't even chase you? Or he's coming at you and you just slam a door into yourself and disappear and he's just like 😢

I finished this game upwards of 25 times and I didn't knew at least half of the glitches you used for this single run, lmao PS: Also, this has to be the best speedrun video-essay I've seen. Just the highlights, and explanation of how and why for each glitch (and holy fuck, there's a lot of them) AND top it off with great humor. "Ah, Alucard, we meet again. Goddamn it, he left again".
