You know how sandopolis zone from Sonic 3 can be a really long level????? That's Smash Sonic when he's using Timeouts in a nut shell. Sonic game's aren't just about speed there also about platforming and exploration, which can make some levels complex. Sandopolis Zone is the most extreme example of this.

@@ironicallyuncreative You don't have a choice. Sakurai will sometimes reduce a character to their weakest incarnation if the character is too powerful. For example Ridley in Smash is reduced to his NES appearance, which explains why he is lighter than Samus. The problem is if fans knew that Ridley had to be reduced, then know one would request Ridley in Smash. Sonic suffers the same problem. That's the problem with cross overs, not every character is equal in terms of power, so changes have to be made for balance.

Things I want for Sonic series for Smash 6: 1. Sonic side B being the boost mechanic + Frontiers moveset mixed in 2. Shadow, Knuckles, & Classic Sonic n Tails as playable characters. 3. A sonic boss battle if they ever do another adventure mode (Eggman or perfect chaos)

During the pandemic I loved how everyone had plushies or some sort of picture of themselves to show that they were there in a different way, it was pretty cool and was a thing I found awesome!

Now this is Sonic in his full potential and full speed and full power , he's undefeatable

Not really that good considering Hero still has way more endlag and he also can't have it constantly active

I was annoyed at first when I saw this video title but that I know why. #THXSonix Sonic has been one of my favorite smash bros characters and the guy who used him to humiliate people made me love him even more

Sega can do what Ninten-dont, and that's having crazy fast op characters such as Sonic

You know what would be great? Custom moves. However, instead of pretty much being variants of the same move like in Sm4sh, they could all be unique, like the Miis or Palutena. That way characters like Sonic could have an actually canonically accurate moveset without the need for a completely new game. I know it’s unrealistic and the work needed would be a lot, but it would be really cool.
