The requirements ull might accept no devops exp.... But a utter fact is SRE is evolved from devops.... Automation, scripting, toils, slo sla sli matrix, leaving build and release away.. Even the deployment strategy like canary is from SRE practise.. Iaac concepts evolved from devops friend.. U seems have no idea on SRE daily jobs.

SRE is absolutely not evolved from DevOps. That is categorically false. SRE (according to Google's book) is an evolution of the System Administrator role combined with systems monitoring programmers and some QA. There is absolutely no DevOps in the SRE role (as Google defined it).

There are no such thing as DevOps role, its same like saying Agile Engineer which doesnt mean anything
Not answers SRE role... Sorry not agree with u
