Been using this feature with my Pixel lately, it's awesome haha. I mostly have used it to let my boss know I'm "feeling sick". Schedule that text to hit his phone at 7:12am and then I can keep on sleeping.

@chargeminecraft there's like a 99% chance that i won't do this but if i get cancer or something and my doctor says that i have one week to live i'll schedule my funeral so i know when it ends and i'll schedule my text message, or i'll just get a friend to text my family the message

@@beclopsIn this scenario, yes. But there's other scenerios I can think of where I *would* like it to send that indicator - for example, if you and the other person work completely different shifts, and you want to be courteous and send it at a time that works better for them, but want it to be more obvious that you're just being courteous so they don't reply "oh, you didn't need to stay up to send me this! I feel so bad" and/or then call your phone thinking you're awake.

@@muscy2637 But it shouldn't bother them. Like email, SMS is and has always been asynchronous, with no expectation of immediate reply. Most people don't even have message tones enabled so they wouldn't see the message unless they check. It's not like calling someone at 3.00, which would wake them up and demand they pick up immediately.
