没有记错，应该是1983年我在holiday plaza 吃我人生的第一汉堡MacChicken。感觉很兴奋。这里也是新山第一间麦当劳。承载了多少人的回忆。每逢新年必到的地方。买过年衣服，现在流行什么东西，我们都会来这里看看，现在流行什么歌曲。我印象最深刻的就是王杰的，一场游戏一场梦，那时候很红的一首歌。唉！往事已不堪回首了。40年就这样过去了

是啊(⊙o⊙)，同感。是有点惋惜，毕竟Plaza曾是新山/新加坡人首选的购物大商场。

已经二十几年没到过那里没想到会变成这样！以前来的时候里面都是人山人海，说真的已经有超过二十年没到新山了，也许明年会计划骑脚车从新山到花棋山和金马伦旅游。

@@dailyvlogwillywilly 对於美食我不是那么热忱，在意的是干净卫生当然是不能难吃食物重毒不是开玩笑的由其是旅游的时候。更喜欢的是风景人闻文化，骑脚车更能享受旅游的乐趣看的也更多！还可以维持和锻练体力能走更远的路。马来西亚有很好的风景人闻和文化是骑行旅游的好地方。很可惜的是最近十几年被政党和各别政客为了个别利益抄弄把好好的国家搞到污烟瘴气。

以前很喜欢去但得从City 那搭德士去， 现在有点怕怕。 －地方大但没什么装修， 所以显破旧而且没什么灯， 有点昏暗。 － 如果有feeder bus 从新山带去那会带来人潮。 那么大的地方而且靠近新山， 这样浪费掉很可惜。

@@dailyvlogwillywilly 实话实说，是不会的啦。如果他们是依然常去的话，留言就不是这样的。 再说，就像吉隆坡这里也有过两间这种情况的商场。金河广场你知道吗？曾经是全马最威最大的商场，甚至比这holiday plaza更辉煌，更了不起。结果也是变到和影片一样，里面90％的店都关闭了，里面没个人影，像鬼城。后来有新闻报导，一堆人也是像这样只在评论区留言“回忆”。谁还会浪费时间特地跑回去，反正附近和旁边就有几间又新又大又多东西买/吃的。 后来前几年终于重建装修了。但是 依然挽救不了曾经的辉煌，现在虽然有人去了，但可以说多半都是外劳。本地人几乎不会去，年轻一辈的更不可能。

@@ivanchow508 我曾到过金河广场，不过是我上KL读书时。那是N年前(不想暴露年龄)的事，那些岁月真的不堪回首，不过读书生活蛮开心的。。。 话说回来，我们只能对小辈述说Plaza 的回忆。毕竟现在年轻人都往新颖的购物中心逛，早已把这间旧商场给忘了。

就在KSL 附近，人家也懒的去，过多几年，MRT一建好，R&F的天下。

R&F Mall also lousy no crowd. Even Emperor Cinema shut down. Even with RTS, Singaporeans will go to City Square, KSL Mall or Southkey, not R&F Mall.

在疫情前，我如果有电话想要维修，第一个就想到这里了。虽然我住在槟城，可是，这里修理功夫好过槟城，而且价钱也便宜过槟城。把手机交给他们，我顺便去按摩。看来没了。

Holiday Plaza is definitely a special childhood memory for many Johorean. During the heyday, HP had everything - anchor department store Parkson; Pizza Hut which was a high end restaurant just like McDonald/KFC; a classic old grand cinema ( i watched Titanic at the upstairs VIP seat ); the chicken rice shop next to cinema was one of the best with RM3; arcade game centre only 18+ can enter ( Street fighters/Daytona ); smaller Nintendo game shop ( winning 11); Bowling; comic book shops; fancy made to order clothing shops at level 3; night club ( only place i never been ); glasses shops; money changers ;etc etc. After the heyday it was taken ver by VCD/DVD shops and who would forget the constant door shutting when enforcers came, I believe that was the beginning of HP demise/slow dead when many shops became DVD shops. For comparison KSL is so damn boring with all the mediocre/substandard shops yet it’s extremely popular. For me seeing the slow dead of HP is like seeing my family getting old and eventually going to pass away. It’s an extremely sad feeling.

也不能全怪management 。你们理解这些商铺都是strata title吗？了解内部结构吗？不要看现在KSL这么旺。如果我的信息没错，KSL以后也有可能变成下一个Holiday Plaza.

@@user-tf8ib2hb7i KSL 都是个别owner一定是strata title。Under Strata title 就会有management fee。Holiday Plaza 和 KSL 主要的差别是KSL 比较新一下子吸收了很多Holiday Plaza的店铺租客。假如20年后，KSL 旧了需要翻新和维修需要10mil。到时开会没有获得绝大部分的店主支持呢？就算你获得绝大多数的支持，假如有30%的店主因为他们个别不同情况没法支付这笔费用。翻新也是不能成功。同时Holiday plaza那副地有大型发展。结果就是租客又会去“New Holiday Plaza "

@@rockfeather7406 Location wise Holiday Plaza is ok. There is really no other solution, they need to try supply pull strategy, just like Singapore was a fishing village n no tax port drew the crowd back in the 1819. The accounting on the building is expensed n they certainly can lower rentals

没疫情，这个mall也没救。除非有财团收购全部商铺重新规划管理。

俺的 psp2k， psp3k， ps2 slim，ps3，还有一堆游戏光碟都在那里买的。。。

呵呵。Plaza 曾经是新山最大购物商场，吸引不少年轻美媚和帅哥到那逛街看戏。
