Just go fishing, catch fish, 10+, and donate them to Pearson, it stacks Honor like crazy and is literally the best way, better than donating money into the Box. I only donate a few cents my First Donation of the In Game Day to get Honor instead of constantly putting $20 in the box. Go fishing fellow RdR players and see how well it works!

If you do the last Leopold Strauss mission, it will give you a ton of honor.

I try to but I always move to high honor. First of all, it easy to nickle and dime honor. Anytime you put money in the gang box, donate food, go fishing, etc you get honor points. It's hard for me to be dishonorable. Some of the choices you have to make to get low honor are down right hard to make.

You can gain honor by catching and releasing fish. Letting a fish go once you caught it boosts your honor. Pretty sure there isn't a cooldown, but IDK how much honor it gives you

Its easier going to Saint denis and greet everyone, just be careful to not run them over

When using the greeting method, here are some tips you should know: 1- It takes greeting 3 people to gain honor 2- You can only say hi to strangers, policemen or other people doesn’t count 3- Using your horse is better than running around, since it lets you move around quicker 4- Is you leave an area (like going around a corner) and coming back, you can greet people twice

It's the best to raise your honor on chapter 6 when you just take a loan from Widow that his husband called Arthur. Idk specifically but it raised your honor a bit after met her because Arthur know that Strauss are loaning depressed folks,Arthur will give her $100(Its an option you can didn't give too, but best to give her a hundred) and when you scold Strauss out of the camp, it goes way up there! Like reset to mid level of you from deep low honor.

How is that the best experience? Micah is scum, and Downes gives you TB. You have to be careful making a starter save for Ch.2 as there's a missable mission that can be lost early, and some exploits to get some stuff early (like killing the gunslingers for the writer - one of them can be scared by gunfire in Valentine and you can then get his Schofield. You can also get the Missouri Fox Trotter during/just after the 3rd photography mission).

$20.01+ gives the max amount of honour. So if you continously donate $20.01 you will stack 10 honour everytime. Also, you gotta greet 3 different people for the greeting honour point, don't waste time talking to the same person.

I'm currently attempting a high-honor playthrough but circumstances keep getting in the way, so my honor is swinging wildly up and down, which leads me to suggest a new long-term challenge: How many times can Arthur switch from highest honor to lowest honor in a full play through (through the end of Chapter 6, of course).

You actually have to donate every 20$ to gain the honor. You waste all your 18000$ by donating all at once. You have to donate one 20$ at a time to gain +10 honour

I love High honor Arthur. He's far more personable, reflective and self aware. In my last playthrough I played as Low honor for the first half and switched to high honor after his "issue" was revealed to him. I feel like the writers wanted low honor players to do that with how the story develops anyway. Seeing Arthur grow from bad to good just makes the ending hit harder.

You have to donate 21 eat time it has to be over 20 to make a big chime doesn’t matter if you do 1000 it’ll be the same amount as 21 so just keep doing it 21 pound each time and also if you get 4+ honour and customise the cattlemen and double action revolvers and go on grip you will get cool grips which are pretty rare because you have to increase your honour so much

I was waiting for this my dude!! Got back into red dead a few weeks ago and was really excited to see that people are still making videos on it. I was thoroughly entertained by this, thank you!

5:29 Bro, even if you greet a person a thousand times, your honour will only increase when you greet 3 people. So, just greet each person one time and it will help increase your honour fast. (I personally do it)

I find myself doing all the chores at camp so my honor kind of evens out 😂. Move hay, get water, cut wood. 😂

Maxing out positive honor can be done quickly by going to Valentine, Give the sheriff or one of his deputies a shove, and then surrender immediately. Spend the night in jail. Shove one of them again immediately after you are released, and repeat the sequence. I usually do this immediately after arriving at horse shoe overlook. Best time to do it because you have to pay fine when you go to jail, but if you run out of money to pay the fine no problem. Getting honor this way beats running around greeting people, etc. In addition you get to hear interesting dialogue from Sherrif Malone. Can be maxed in about an hour.

I remember when I was high honor, I was riding my horse till I slightly bumped into an npc riding a carriage. The npc got really mad and was shooting me till a lawman killed him. That was the first time a lawman did something nice for me 😂.

It's funny how I've killed almost the entire population of van horn, named my horse 'Death', had the max bounty in Lemoyne, killed lots of innocent people, killed innocent dogs, and had the lowest honor I could reach in the game. But after I found out Arthur had tuberculosis I instantly regretted what I did. So Instead of still having the lowest honor in the game, I immediately went to have the highest honor in the game, helping people, paying off all my bounties, I never killed dogs again (unless they attacked first), I named my horse 'Salvation' , and after all this time I finally became a good man.

I remember the best way to get your Honor up in the whole game is in the post-game when playing as John. You can meet Rains Fall in Annesburg for a short cutscene. There's one of these for a bunch of the old gang but this one in particular, I think will always max out your Honor no matter what level it's currently at, or at the very least you get A LOT.

I believe doing the Strauss’s mission and kicking him out of the camp can most likely give you the most amount of honor

You can actually gain huge chunk of honor by completing all of strauss's money collecting quests

(sorry if I make any mistake, english isnt my mother tongue) During my first playthrough, I wanted to prove Arthur that he was a good man, and he died with the highest honor. What made me sad was that he never considered himself as a good man, and just wanted to help others because he knew it was the end. So I think that I will make John have the happiest life for a little while, before I go back with Arthur and make no effort to have the highest honor, I will make him with bad honor, a man that have plan for the future. I still don't know what to do at the end, because I want Arthur to help his little brother til the end but at the same time, I want to give Micah something to remember

I played this game at the beginning like Gta 5, I didn’t really notice the honor system until I kept on hearing the bell and my honor dropping, didn’t know what it was but when I found out that I needed high honor to get the good ending I immediately started to do good, the last Strauss Mission gave me so much honor and I couldn’t have been happier to have gotten the good ending, however it wasn’t really as good as I thought because my horse got shot and my boah Arthur died. I cried more for my horse though because I got spoiled about Arthur’s death.

I think the disarming an enemy method is a counter attack where you block or dodge an melee attack or its just a melee attack, and ive never been over 40 honor lol, i just keep having to kill o'driscolls and lemoyne raiderz and killing enemies still counts as a dishonorable act

Didn't know there was a RDR2 guide . Never knew there was specific totals listed for each activity you can do .

I just kept politely greeting people in town to get my honor up. (Mainly because I wanted to buy the paragon outfit) It may not give as much of a honor bonus, but you can rapidly switch between NPCs in populated towns like St. Denis. Going from 0 to 8 honor took me about an hour or two. I did stuff inbetween tho.

You can trigger a duel by aggravating a person until they pull their gun out or they appear as a red dot on the map. Hold your shooting button slowly and it’ll initiate a duel
