Coach Jeremy that’s what I thought, I rushed back from CA on March 17... hope next time. I am wondering have you skated in CCM tacks in-line skates 9060r? Need to upgrade...

I’ve got a pair of total-custom CCM Jetspeed FT2s. It’s awesome to see how they’re actually made! Gives me a whole new appreciation for my skates.

It's RNH gloves in Isles colors which is odd. I dig the orange and blue though.

Lucky. NY wont let rinks open until Phase 4, which is supposed to start July 1st. I cannot wait until I can get back onto the ice and back into the scorebox

Cool vid coach Jeremy! Just switching subjects here quick CCM has got to design Connor McDavid a shin pad with carbon fiber technology for his notorious sprint drives to the net....something like 2 carbon fiber one piece squares 1 inch apart, and 1 each inch apart at the round angle of shin wrap(4 total)....these would be great to buy as customer, I'm wearing the CCM as1 shin pad

I had a luck to catch a new pair on ebay (Brad Richard's equipment, CCM U+ pro) and have been using them for five years. FIVE FRIGGING YEARS. Not seasons. Four to five days a week average, 2-3 hours skating time every practice. The sharpening guys at the shop just couldn't believe skates may handle that. They really do use different materials for pro stock skates, no doubt.

@@BeezusCripes Since the boot is all glued up it would be difficult, if not impossible, to open the skate without at least partially destroying it.

i think everything is coming out earlier here in sweden, last year the flylite, the as3 pro has been out for 1 week and ft3 coming in 1 week

‪do you happen to know what muscles SHOULD feel sore after skating w/proper technique? I’m always afraid of not activating the right muscles and right now I’ve noticed my adductors are real rough. I’ve been told by PT I may be quad dominant instead of glute in my stride..‬

I think that’s pretty common especially at the start of a new season. I suspect it’s because your muscles aren’t used to lifting the additional weight of the skates, shin guards etc. Should go away as you rip the muscles and recover and get stronger.

For the 2012-2013 season, Crosby skates were Reebok, hollow = 7/16 and profile = 30/60. You can check reddit, there is plenty of charts with all skate details for NHL players.

It's not the same finished product as the pro's would receive. Pro's have their own custom mold and the general public will have what ever mold CCM has on hand that best resembles your scanned foot dimensions. I thought I was getting a pro fitment when I had my foot scanned for the FT1's. CCM management told me what I have described above.

How did you end up liking them? And how is the liner inside the skates, saw that they don’t give the total dry liner just a generic black one. I’m debating a new pair of ft4 pros, wondering if custom or just retail.

@@123rwnp really depends how fittings have gone for you . If it sucks and they never really fit well and they hurt its worth the money I was on the ice 4 times a week after covid shutdowns endsx

Thanks for the reply, fittings always been iffy for me. I seem to never really find a great fit, in as1’s now and they are fine.. but have to lace them a certain way to avoid pain.

@@123rwnp anytime, same had to lace them skipping the instep spot so my foot wouldn't ache. i finally found the nexus skates before they changed the fit and now they dont fit my foot right. then during covid i turned my old nexus 8000 into inline with mars blades and ordered customs. if you can afford it and skate 2 times a week they are totally worth it

A grand for them skates. Sheesh.

At the end you said there was no hockey do to covid-19, I have a game on Saturday and 2 games on sunday
