yes and as he died he thought of Harry who he loved and who ran off with this woman and was not even there when he died. just before dying getting that horrible television..... broadcast so they could throw dirt on the entire family wow no class whatsoever. Harry should grow up and see that his wife is Not his mother. .. can not hold a candle to Diana . She was a real woman that the world loved. Love your comments Alan! I am in the US and completely agree with you. What grandson gives an interview with oprah and attacks his own family? He is influenced by his wife but he also has free will and should have stopped the interview. Thousands of people asked them to not release the interview yet due to his grandfather's very fragile health but they went ahead with it. Prince Philip was in his last days heading towards the end of his life and the Queen had a lot in her plate to deal with. It was very cruel and they upset the last weeks of Prince Philip's life and it contributed to his demise. Americans we do not like them nor approve their behavior. Only the radical left defends them and fortunately they are still a minority in america.

Wallis Simpson springs to mind for us in the U.K. History repeating itself. It was heartbreaking to see the Queen sat at the funeral. She cast a very sad and lonely figure. God knows what was going through her mind as she looked upon Phillips coffin in front of her.

Charles, Andrew, now Harry...what a terrible trial for a parent (or grandparent,) to have a wayward child who does awful things to embarrass the family - but to have their exploits played out in front of the entire world?? I couldn't bear up under that as HM has done. Absolute class. She's true royalty...a Lady to the end, no matter what others may do. Anne is the most respected of HM's children, I believe. So like her mother! I adore her. Edward had a few stumbles early on (don't we all!) but nothing vile or base like the absolute *moral turpitude* of Chulls & Andy. If you're not familiar with the concept, it's a phrase used in US Criminal Law to describe *conduct that is considered contrary to community standards of justice, honesty, or sound morals.* *Crimes* involving moral turpitude have *an inherent quality of baseness, vileness, or depravity with respect to a person's duty to another or to society in general.* I seriously doubt Chulls has committed such crimes (he's not *that* uncouth lol) but Andy...? Not only isn't 'the jury' still out ~ 'the jury' has yet to be convened!

@@l.5127 Hahaha - what inheritance? Prince Philip was dispossessed as a young man and was skint when he married the Queen. He only had his heart and his devotion to duty to offer her. That was enough. He served our country far above and beyond what we expected. But all the money stays with the Queen I think, so Harry will be going home to the USA with empty pockets. What a shame...

When its all said and done he is still his Grandfather. At least his wife was smart enough to stay home!

I'm disgusted that Harry Knew that Prince Philip didn't have long left and still went ahead and filmed that tell-all whine-a-thone. He chose NOT to self quarantine and visit his Grandfather one last time. I'm angry that they are bending the rules protocols regulations for Harry by allowing him to quarantine for only a week and still go to the funeral. I understand that it was his Grandfather BUT he made his choices..why are the BRF and UK government making exceptions for him YET AGAIN??!!??

Prince Philip saw his mother, who was his only caregiver, straight-jacketed and carted away to an asylum in front of his own eyes. May I congratulate the many Australian newscasters for remaining authentic, honest and outspoken. Your lack of "wokeness" makes me proud. I wish the mainstream UK media newscasters had the same gumption. Prince Philip was authentic, intelligent and spoke his mind. He was also dutiful, loyal and FUN. Unfortunately as soon as anyone in the UK media calls it as they see it or voices an opinion that doesn't conform they get shouted down as some sort of 'ist or get removed from their job so forget any meaningful unbiased journalism in the near future. As regards Prince Harry attending his Grandfather's funeral after all is said and done I am sure Prince Philip would have wanted him there, I think that he should be given the quiet private funeral he wanted after he gave up so much to support the Queen after all it is the last thing the family and the country can do for him.

Love this guy. You Aussies always say it like it is - clear and precise. Agree, how Harry could show his face is just mind boggling. I don’t think anyone with any real human feelings of compassion etc could ever have done what he did to his grandparent when they were at their most vulnerable. Harry is only there so he can claim he is the only one grieving for his grandfather, just like he always claims he is the only one grieving for his mother. He knows his wife lied and he let her lie to the world, even when it made him look like a weak and uncaring husband. Perhaps, he is either too stupid or too under the thumb, not to realise. He is only welcome in the UK for the sake of his grandmother. I know that when my father died after 55 years of marriage and after knowing my mother for 58 years, she was devastated at the loss. Just imagine how the Queen must feel after her even longer marriage to lose her husband. I just hope and pray that Markle woman does not try and upstage the funeral with some dramatic medical emergency, requiring a dash to the hospital. I would put nothing past her after all she has done previously.

Respect to Alan Jones for saying what the majority in the UK feel. How dare Harry show his face after putting the Royal Family though such stress, while he knew his grandfather was dying and could not survive for much longer.

It's a Funeral for Harry's Grandfather and if the Queen is OK with it EVERYONE else needs to let it go. No one is perfect, we all make mistakes. In the end each will answer for themselves. ENOUGH with taking sides, this is about the Duke and the Queen, things are sad/stressful enough.

If Harry didn't go to the funeral, everyone would say that's wrong as well. He wants to pay his last respect to his grandfather.

If he wanted to show respect to his grandfather he shouldn't have implicated him in the Oprah interview. Making the effort to visit him while he was still alive would have been nice.

Agree when you don’t care and trash family when they’re alive and don’t even visit them in hospital then you shouldn’t go to their funeral and pretend you care or she’d crocodile tears. He should’ve listened to his grandfathers advice not to marry her.
