The fact is, the main reason being gay stopped being illegal was not because of the protest groups, but the majority of the public were OK with it. Those sentiments are quickly turning. Pride is doing more harm than good.

Yep, they had mostly acceptance, but wanted to push more activism and many people didn't want to respect other people's boundaries, particularly over their own children where apparently even wanting parental consent for pronoun changes is controversial. Like can you not pretend like you have more authority over our own kids. Most of them wouldn't identify as something else if the idea wasn't pushed onto them.

Don't forget it wasn't the protest that made a huge difference, but it was people finding out their relative, friends or coworker was gay. When you know someone and close to someone who is gay you are more likely to accept them. The message was love is love and getting people to understand us changed people's opinion. Not today young activists decide to be confrontational and force people to accept us or you're a bigot. This is going to cause us to lose acceptance.

In Germany the Pride Parade is called CSD, Christopher Street Day, and is only one day a year. Unfortunately, the Anglosphere is having a bad impact on that institution, seeing as more and more companies are global and are thus catering to the ‚PRIDE MONTH‘ stupidity. Maybe, if veterans get one day, LGB (cut the T) should be humble enough to not celebrate a month long something no one gets to chose anyhow. Should be a good thing to split the sexualities away from the woke crowd of transtrenders, and then have one CSD per city. Doesn‘t even have to all be on the same day, so you can travel from parade to parade if you want to.

We're all a little confused as to why a persons fettish has become their identity and why they are part of the LGBT community. We look around and wonder why gender ideology has become such a big part of what was once supposed to be about our sexuality. All's we ever wanted was to be seen and treated as normal and boring as any straight person. None of us believe there are more than two genders, none of us believe there's more than three sexualities and we'd never refer to anyone as Cis.

Real transgenders in the majority of cases are born with a penis but have no attachment to it because the feel they are female. It causes great anxiety for them. In order to try to alleviate that anxiety they will hide or even surgically remove their penis and make other changes to pass as a woman. They will not sing about normalizing the bulge and say women can have bulges. They will not make tiktocs talking about having a stillborn. Most will not agree with giving blockers to children that permanently alter their bodies.

I watched a video a few days back. It might have been Arielle Scarcella. It featured a lesbian who had been around during the early days of the gay rights movement. She was expressing how bad she felt for the way things had turned out. They'd never intended for it to turn out the way it has. She even apologised for her past activism. It was actually quite disheartening to watch.

Theres been a few things I've seen with a lesbian woman basically walking in a mans shoes and by the end both were crying and one ended themself because she thought she was basically wrong all her life, I cant remmeber the names but they are on youtube, one was a woman who wanted to be a comedian and the other was a lesbian who wanted to pretend to me a man for a month or something to see what it was like, she was the one who ended herself, they dont realise a lot of what the real world is like they get so caught up with Isms and and phobias that they forget to use their logical parts and think maybe theres another side it all, there can never be equality while one type of the whole is being made superior wether it be blacks/whites, gay/straight or anything in between, the weird part is the most "accepting" and "loving" people now are actually the worst of the worst while the people who try to argue that children and just confused people domt need to surgically alter their body forever to feel happy are somehow the hateful ones who hate everything and cant stand gays or whatever, it's all a joke and ita better if someone says they are gay to just say "cool" and remember to never take a conversation that way again

Pay attention though, very little of this is coming from gay people. It's ALL the "trans" and "queer" and "non-binary" people who are doing it. "Queer" has been appropriated by bored straight people with blue hair and a nose ring. Gays are being reduced to "queer" or the "LGBTQZED2 community", which is now a synonym for TQ+, against our will, and they do not give a damn how we feel about it. Our former gay rights orgs are making official statements telling us we shouldn't say "gay community" because it's "inclusive". I’m a lawyer. Rights for gay and lesbian people in the US were won based on the constitutional right to privacy. Requiring more and more of the public is going in the complete opposite direction and completely undermines what activists up until recent years fought for. As a Black woman, the fight for civil rights was a fight to end legal disenfranchisement first, and personal opinions second. Basing a movement solely on changing people’s personal opinions is doomed fail, because people don’t like being told what to think explicitly. Public sentiment changes organically, based on positive representation in public spaces. “Validate me or you’re the devil incarnate” is significantly less effective on a large scale. It does work on the very young and the weak-minded though.

Yes pride and gay acceptance used to be from the community about tolerance: You don’t have to like it or me for being trans or gay, accept it, celebrate it, affirm it, condone it. But we do ask that you respect us as human beings, be kind courteous and polite in public, agree to disagree. Let us have the same basic human rights as you. And we’ll leave you alone. Now it’s become if you don’t like it, accept it, condone it, affirm it, celebrate it regardless of your own personal religious beliefs or personal beliefs in general you are evil and should be bashed and destroyed. Especially when and I’m saying this as a Bisexual woman, the LGBTQUIA+ movement has become so politicized and so radical in gender ideologies and involvement with minors, corporately exploited and politically exploited, and need to have everyone agree with everything they do, it’s pushing people who were neutral about the community and gay rights or supported us against us and making us all look like radical idiots.

If you want to be accepted in society and treated just as anyone else in society, then have some decency, there are kids, old folk, and other members of your community who wouldn’t wander round dancing almost naked. Regardless of what celebration it was, we get it your gay, if you want full acceptance and celebration then allow anyone to attend without fear of what is essentially sexual exposure. I was at the pride march in Tokyo, and it was nothing like this hedonism. They understand that to be accepted you have to be part of society not break it.

You clearly didn't watch the video. The pride parade is starting to be less and less about gay acceptance and more about trans, queer, kinks and nudity. These groups have hijacked the pride parade from the gay community and made it about themselves. All these groups have their different needs and wants that are separate from the gay community's needs and wants. Some of these people are not even gay they are straight liberal activists who colour their hair and wear rainbow outfits but apparently can speak and represent what gay people want. The kink and nudist community have their own desire to be naked and do sexual acts in public, which are the real issues in the pride parade, and it is not what every gay and lesbian wants. They continue to do what they want in the pride parade due to young activist organizers while gays and lesbians have been taking the blame for this when some of us don't even go to pride and not even near it, yet we are being blamed for this.

They have poisoned some young Gays & Lesbians playing into their internal unresolved homophobia & fears. Being Gay or Lesbian is not wanted by these Str8-Queer-Trans-Nonbinary radical activists. They want to destroy our LGB Community by sewing decension among the LGB Community as well as Straight allies, friends, & family by pushing delusional agendas & false Queer propaganda. They are attempting to rewrite Gay & Lesbian History by inserting their false beliefs among our community & the world at large. I would urge you to rewatch the video & try to understand that the LGB Community is under attack by these straight wanna be queers because they want to feel special & unique. So they poison the well with their trans-queer-activist agendas. The majority of these radicals are straight people with some misguided gay & lesbians among their ranks. They play upon their fears & insecurities around their sexuality. The frustration & animosity you feel towards Gays is exactly what these Str8-Queer-Trans-Nonbinary activists want. They want you to feel uncomfortable & feel confused around Gay & Lesbian folks so that you may want to attack authentic LGB people (who don't want to hurt or "groom" children or even dance naked in parades), who do not push an agenda other than just wanting equal rights as citizens & live peacefully amongst our fellow human beings. Don't fall for the propaganda, we need to stick together to root out this trans-activist cancer out of our LGB Community & encourage peace with our Straight friends & family. Check out the LGB Alliance for more clarity on this issue. It's for biological men & women who are LGB, but you will find information there that shines a light on the difference between genuine LGB folks & these radicals pushing a trans-activist ideaology. Peace be with you & remember if it's screaming about being mis-gendered & being oppressed then that's not the genuine LGB Community those are misguided gays & lesbians who have been sucked into the Str8-Queer-Trans-Nonbinary activist movement, which is a delusional & destructive agenda that wants to transition kids & devolve Gays & Lesbians out of existence.

Fear isn't just cowering in the corner trembling... it's the fear of what they think it will do to society and their own perception of what society should be... as if everyone should live like them and deny who they are for the sake of the hater. They are afraid of what's different to themselves.... that's typical of human behavior.

I saw lesbians were going to be the first casualties of this ideology and I don’t think I was wrong. The very notion of, gay? Throw on a frock because you must be a woman...and other such rhetoric is demeaning to gay individuals. I'm a straight woman and that disturbs me, so heaven knows how that makes gay people feel. To be treated like they don't know who they are, that they need fixing with some hormones and surgery. That they are a bigot for who they want to be with or not. Just NO. It's all, just, so regressive. I knew a lot of gay people, of both sexes, growing up. Just everyday people getting on with their lives. Now, the acceptance they fought for is being undermined by they/thems/ze/zirs and their peaceful existence is threatened. It's not right.

@@xabre9995 Ok. But to be fair, these days, the idea of facts being 'bigoted' isn't so far fetched, given the pervasiveness of the postmodernist ideological, reality-denying, militant identitarian cult. Cheers.

@derekspitz9225 Relax... You missed the point... That post was sarcasm, your starting to behave exactly how the Str8-Queer-Trans-Nonbinary activists want us to behave. The poison they have injected into the LGB Community along with the Left/Progressives is meant to have us be insulted by one another & attack each other. It's okay, we are watching our lives be consumed by homophobic & misogynistic Str8-Queer-Trans-Nonbinary activists ideologies. Don't let them win by hijacking us against each other, that's exactly what these misguided trans-activists want. They want us to misunderstand each other & get offended by the simplest acts or statements of sarcasm, comedy, & speech. Check out the LGB Alliance, it's a group only for authentic & genuine Gay biological men, Lesbian biological women, & Bisexual biological women & biological men. They started in the UK & they are now in the US. It's just beginning as a movement to take a stand against the delusional activists agenda & propaganda. We're gonna make it, but we have to stick together & not be so easily offended by things, that's exactly what these usurpers of the Gay & Lesbian Liberation Movement want. They want us to fight amongst each other, their goal is to have us wipe ourselves out so they can fill in the void they're attempting to create. That's exactly why they are focusing on rewriting Gay & Lesbian History. Stay strong my friend, we'll beat these Str8-Queer-Trans-Nonbinary activists radicals like we've beat every obstacle that has come our way & try to eradicate us throughout history. You are not alone! Peace Brother be upon you, now take a look at getting involved in the LGB Alliance & see if it's a good fit for you & maybe be a space where you can add your support & hopefully find some solace in this current storm that has befallen upon us! ❤

The split is happening with LGB splitting from the TQ etc . When Mermaids the Trans charity tried report the LGB to the charity commission and ended up being investigated themselves.
