How PAKISTANI People treat an INDIAN Tourist - Kartarpur Corridor
Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, also called Kartarpur Sahib, is a gurdwara in Kartarpur, located in Shakargarh, Narowal District, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me. I crossed the India Pakistan border (Kartarpur corridor) and for the very first time stepped on the soil of our neighboring country Pakistan. The Pakistani army and their officials welcome us with open arms and warmth. I met lots of great and welcoming Pakistanis. It was a unique feeling, to be present there in Pakistan and interact with the Pakistani people. I visited the Langar hall and we tasted some delicious prasad. I can't sum up this amazing visit in words hence I have shared my experience with you guys in the form of a video of this visit to Kartarpur Sahib. I hope you will love this one.

There is story in Sikh history when Mughal Emperor Akbar came to meet Guru Angad Dev ji (Sikhs second Guru) he asked Emperor to have lunger meal by sitting with other sangat in same row. Akbar was amazed that in Guru Darbar all are treated as one.

AOA Brothere Ashish, Your vlog came up on my feed and I was reluctant to watch it as I am really fed up of all of these negative vlogs people have made regarding our countries. However watching your vlog I was pleasantly surprised and I am glad I have seen it. My best friend is a Hindu and I have several Sikh friends, my neighbours were also Sikh, both of my parents were born in India but had to migrate to Pakistan as a result of the Partition. I have never ever heard any of my parents or my uncles and aunts talking bad about Hindus and Sikhs, infact it was always positive. My aunt would tell me stories of how they used to love going to the Temples and Gurdarwara when she was a young girl. My Dads favorite neighbour who he saw as a mother figure was a Hindu living next door to them in Jalandar. I have never seen this side of Pakistan and Inshallah when I go I will definitely go here to see it for myself. So thankyou for being so positive. We all know that there are some discrimination on both sides of the country, but what matters the most is the love between the people.

What a seamless trip and not crowded with security. Just an odd policeman on duty. Many of my friends have visited Pakistan and have been overwhelmed by Pakistani hospitality. It's politicians that make us enemies on paper for their own benefit

I went to study a abroad semester abroad in Italy back in 2016. There I met a pakistani gentleman pursuing Phd. we became good friends.. one day he asked me to come play cricket with local pakistanis settled there.. I introduced myself and played and was treated with respect. they were very courteous. After playing, they offered me cold drinks and snacks from a hyper market nearby. At ground level there isn't any hate but only respect for the other nation.

I ve seen temples in dialapediated conditiins in villages n cities of pakistan ..The very nature n corups of various temples changed in mosques/ other sort of buildings. Contrarily all mosques abandoned in 1947 have been reopened now . Pak Evacuee board should show some good gestures to protect cultural heritage of hindus abandoned on saving luves merely resulting partition perpetrated by Gandhi / Nehru n jinnah. Millions of hindu/ sikhs butuchered n raped against the pact of 3 persons. Now as a human gestures pakistan by inviting hindus/ sikh priests can save these temples/ gurudwaras heritage in dialapediated condition

There could be such acts but this is illegal in Pakistan andis crime .There are some areas where hindus and others minority dont live anymore so people might reconstruct temples into any other things. Or some landmafias. But by law temples are protected. In my hometown there is really really old temple . Even though there are no hindus in whole area and the land is now owned by a family still the temple is still there. It's not a comon practice . But if somewhere it is done it is illegal. And there are boards to protect cultural heritage historic heritage and religious places . Criminals are everywhere but with reports and enquiry they can be punished .However generally Pakistan and Pakistanis dont prefer it.

I don't know the current state but there were a lot initiatives during IK 's tenure to restore Hindu temples and other sites to encourage Indian Hindus to visit those places of worship I believe Jhelum Chakwal and Taxila have a lot of historical sites

As a Muslim I am a proud Pakistani that we are the custodians of Sikhs holiest sites in the world ie Panja Sahib, Nankana Sahib and Kartarpur. Just so that my Pakistani brothers and sisters know that there's a Sikh Division in Britain First, a far-right, racist and an islamophobe party. This Sikhs Division therefore is against Muslims. Sikhs News Channels in England routinely invite Islamophobe far-right extremists. This I find very disturbing and sad.

@@tmpillai Brother, there's good and bad people in all communities. I believe most people are good in all cultures. Truth is that since partition 1947, Pakistan has been unstable and poor. Newly liberated country had a lot on its plate. Restoration and preservation of old Temples left behind by departing Hindus was the last priority of a struggling country. I can assure you today, and I beg you to believe me that most Temples fell NOT because people vandalised or desecrated them, they simply became victims of economics. People who cared for them vanished over night so to speak, ones who left behind were in small numbers and poor. They took care of some, did what little they had but that's about it. When I was growing up I saw Hindu Temples stood there, neglected, uncared and unloved. I do NOT recall anyone desecrating them. They stood there and just simply fell. I know some are still standing so if it was people then those Temples would had disappeared long time ago. But, I know it was NOT the people in my area who desecrated your Temples. In the last 20years the government of Pakistan has restored and preserved Katas Raj Temple. They have opened Hindu Yatrees visas and made travel easier. Katas Raj Temple is not far from my town. It is now visited by thousands of locals Hindus and Muslims and indian Hindus, its very well organised and there are tour guides too.
