it looks like the solution was heated or even boiled, it looked a lot like thick "kisel" (a Russian dessert made by combining water, starch, sugar, and berries (or fruits) or jam, boiling it and letting it cool, the more starch, the thicker it is, stuff that is sold in the shops is waaay too thin imo)

for a very mishapen brush..such as one that has been upside down in a container for a long time, you can also wet it and wrap the hairs around and around with some thread. it will dry like that, bend it into the shape you want while its wet. good luck!

  • @-sam-4807

You can also rub your brushes on a bar of soap, shape it with your fingers, let it dry, and then carefully wash it to reshape the hairs

Yes, for those who didn't know you can get a brush back together by using starch and water. If you do nails (like myself) you'll notice there is this a White substance on a New Acrylic brush before you do it. And to remove this I dip my brush into the Monomer.

They either trim or cut the hair from the animal or are sent hair after the animal either has died or was killed it's not like the companies are actually killing the animals and if you have an issue with it there's paint brushes made without animal hair...

Crimping it doesn’t permanently attack it, Iv had plenty of make up brushes that have broken, even when they where “ crimped”
