Melanie Barrientos it's like a wheat paste. Just mix flour and hot water until you get a slightly runny thick paste

it looks like the solution was heated or even boiled, it looked a lot like thick "kisel" (a Russian dessert made by combining water, starch, sugar, and berries (or fruits) or jam, boiling it and letting it cool, the more starch, the thicker it is, stuff that is sold in the shops is waaay too thin imo)

for a very mishapen brush..such as one that has been upside down in a container for a long time, you can also wet it and wrap the hairs around and around with some thread. it will dry like that, bend it into the shape you want while its wet. good luck!
@-sam-4807
6 жыл бұрын
You can also rub your brushes on a bar of soap, shape it with your fingers, let it dry, and then carefully wash it to reshape the hairs

I was just wondering last night
Was wondering how paintbrushes are made yesterday while painting Warhammer minis. Glad i watched this
Yes, for those who didn't know you can get a brush back together by using starch and water. If you do nails (like myself) you'll notice there is this a White substance on a New Acrylic brush before you do it. And to remove this I dip my brush into the Monomer.
Here before 1 mil views And doesn't it sound like it is from how it's made ?

@parodyLUV4

They either trim or cut the hair from the animal or are sent hair after the animal either has died or was killed it's not like the companies are actually killing the animals and if you have an issue with it there's paint brushes made without animal hair...
I'm amazed!
Idk why but the music and his voice is so satisfying
Crimping it doesn’t permanently attack it, Iv had plenty of make up brushes that have broken, even when they where “ crimped”
Everyone is talking about the starch. But not about my food being used as a brush enforcer
I always hated how paint brushes were so expensive but now I respect the process og making them
Where can I get a job doing this? Looks so satisfying
It's so beautiful I'm gonna cry
why is this so oddly satisfying

Wow cool!
Me being bored in quarantine and searching random things such as this video and commenting the same thing to the other videos
I have mad respect for all these brush hair makerw
I guess this explains why my brushes cost so much! Maybe using starch can help me fix some of the stray hairs
I have loads of homework to complete but here I am,watching that how brushes are made😁😂
I seriously got crushed when I found out that they shape the brush with starch and water and I’ve been bringing an ugly brush for 5 years now just cause when I get new ones I think they are too pretty to use....
Here i am, at 3 am watching how paintbrushes are made
I just got my winsor & Newton Cotman set
