“I’ve never met myself like I’ve met you or anyone else for that matter. “ Woah!!!! 😯👏🏼
Amazing insights! Thank you, Florencia!
I appreciate the openness about he fact that there are still thumbs down and commentaries on this video! I mean it!
Theoretical perspectives are the basic assumptions about how society functions, the role of sociology, and the application of a specific set theories in studying social life. -- Society is a unified whole that seeks equilibrium -- Society is composed of groups competing for scare resources -- Social life can be measured through observing daily interactions -- Sociology should be used to enact social change -- Sociology should be value free
Who else is also reading the comments while listening to this video ?

Wonderfully thought out! She gave her story, explained how identities are socially constructed, gave the example of athletes, and provided a solution to further create our identities.
“see yourself as who you are, and others will see you.”
In our English language and literature department, we have organized a number of seminars over this very topic to dig out further in order to seek for an in-depth understanding.
such a difficult topic to get a grasp on
We used to call this being "other directed." What about the inner, autonomous self...that doesn't depend on the reactions of others?
Thank you 😊
Our subject teacher require us to watch this video for our Reflection paper❤️
She deals well with people not laughing at her intended jokes.
Its not about where you were born or complete ,,must see/visit places list".... its about where you live, if you blend in, becoming part of society there, know history of that nationality and know well their traditions, habits and follow them, each nation has its specific unique thing, what you sacrafice for that nation, what you give back.... but i also think you should know their anthem
Medium good

Baloney. We can actually observe and learn things about others outside of what we might think they are more LIKELY to be like - that's a lil' something called surprise.
