MILOW cancer isn't a person. it's a terrible disease. I had cancer, and it was terrible. I know her pain. but one thing I learned is that Its not a person. it's a life destroying disease. now most of you probably don't get what I'm saying, but if you had cancer, then you would understand. but what I learned was that cancer is a bitch, but I'm a bigger bitch!

cancer killed my mom before my birthday. i feel so broken. my mom means everything to me. people don’t know what i’m going through. but my mom had her last surgery in February. she had a total of 5 surgeries. 3 surgeries less than 2 years. the last surgery i felt like my mom was just tired of going to hospitals and keep getting surgeries. it hurt to watch my mom leave. i gave her a speech deep down my heart that i hardly speak of. my mom was so strong. she fought for 17 years. here’s the story ; it was during spring break , i went to palm springs with my aunts and my cousins. tha last day when we were leaving palm springs , my dad called and said my mom was sick and had a fever. i thought it wasn’t so bad bc it didn’t have anything to do wit her brain tumor / cancer. but once i got home my dad told us that while we were at palm springs my mom had a really bad seizure to the point where she would shake non stop and couldn’t really get up or anything. my dad called tha hospital and they came and they said “ she’s just cold “ my dad got mad & rushed her to the hospital hisself. so my mom was in a regular room that night , me and my whole family rushed to the hospital and as i walked in , i broke down crying. i saw my mom laying there with her mouth open and a tube inside her. and i saw my dad breaking down. i never saw my dad cry before ever. my dad is not the type of guy to ever cry. he was with my mom for 18 years so i don’t really know what or how he’s taking this. i’m only 13 now. but i would’ve never thought this would happen to my mom. every time i would walk into the hospital room my mom would look perfectly fine and she would be happy moving around. this time i just saw my mom laying on the bed & breathing weird and heavily. my heart hurts til this day. and i feel so empty. Rest Up Mommy. april 8th ; 5:05 pm 😪💔.

So sorry for your loss. My dad passed away from a rare form of lymphoma that actually looks very much like leukemia in the initial tests but is much worse for an adult prognosis wise. I'll never forget the entire family around my dad and the doctor stood next to a white board in his hospital room and wrote down leukemia then wrote down anaplastic lymphoma under that. He then said " this is one of these two things written on the board... leukemia has a 5 year survival rate in most adults who undergo aggressive treatment and we are praying this is leukemia because the other words written on this board have no survival" .. thankfully now there are those who have survived the cancer that took my dad 13 years ago July 13th 2007 but when he was diagnosed he was case#13 worldwide. It broke our family to the point that 8 months after my dad passed, my grandpa also passed he couldn't handle losing his child while still living himself. Cancer is such an awful thing it doesn't care who you are, how much money you have, what gender or race you identify with. It simply takes over and tries to destroy everything it touches so to speak. My sympathy is with you and your family as well as this little girl and her family, because, I know this pain all too well.

I went to primary school with a girl who had cancer, she had the same name as me. She had a classroom assistant and wasn't in school very often. I never saw her after primary 3, and I have no idea what happened to her. She wasn't in my class when I first started school, she turned up in primary 3, so she must have moved schools.

A kid in pre-k at my school has cancer, we are donating money to him and his family.

Reading the Bible out loud heals me I believe cuz when I did my neck pain went away. It was pain so bad I could only sleep on my back for years. I really try to read the Bible out loud every day since then.

My name is Victoria too. When I was a baby my dad had cancer. Not once but twice. It was really hard. My great grandma had breast cancer & lung cancer at the same time. She died when I was I believe was in 2nd or 3rd grade. It was really hard for me. She would always get me the hospital apple juice. She had a butterfly book that I would always read. Seeing my grandma with the machine & mask over her face was so hard. But she in a better place. I love u grandma

As sad as it is, the wonderful thing is that she was so loved and had a great life while she was here, surrounded by such a caring family. A lot of children/people don’t have such a wonderful family/life. It may have ended too soon, but what there was-minus the leukemia- was lovely and there’s comfort in that. I wish she could have beat it- such a shame. Victoria sounds like she was a great person.

I felt this story and the pain that went with it. My brother got diagnosed at the age of 7 with brain cancer and he was my best friend. He had been battling until 3 years ago when he sadly passed away in October right before his birthday. So I understand the pain because he was absolutely amazing and such a fighter and I miss him dearly ❤

Praise GOD! My son also won his battle after 3 years of chemo! He was diagnosed 9/13/01 with ALL...he turns 22 in May and is headed to the Marines! God is good!

I am so very sorry you lost your precious daughter.When I was 6 years old my oldest brother had Leukemia.Even at the age I was the pain and suffering he went through was unbearable. He passed away at 11 years old. The legacy your daughter left is so inspiring,I love seeing her smiling always it seemed my brother was a huge jokester it too alot to get him down.may your family be blessed .

She was obviously named after her father. That's cute. I wish I had a dad like hers. He seems really cool. Cancer sucks. I wish it didn't exist. My heart goes out to her and her family and friends. Poor baby.

An angel when on earth, an angel now in heaven. I lost my best friend to leukemia in 2009. She had a successful bone marrow transplant but while in recovery contracted an infection which ultimately killed her. Like Victoria, Lisa was the best.

Her story reminds me so much of my sister's. I love and miss my sister. I am happy to be able to help kids in her name. Extra-Life has helped me to heal some very old wounds.

My daughters name is Tori. I loved this story except for the part that said she passed away. I was hoping at the end I was going to see better news about Tori’s recovery. So sorry y’all. What a beautiful life taken too early

@Braden Stephens It means the same thing. There really is no sugarcoating death, in which its definition is the cessation of functioning organs, which is what happened here.

Such a sad + tragic loss of such a young, vibrant, + sweet little girl. R.I.P Victoria 💐. Soar with the angels!

I lost my 8 year old son to brain cancer almost 6 years ago. It breaks my heart to think about what all he went through. He fought so hard only to die in the end. Payers for her family. May she rest peacefully.

My Grandad Passed away with Cancer in March. It’s been many months since he was buried and it still hurts. I miss him a lot but he lived the best life he could. Don’t take every day for granted. Live your life right way because you never know what could happen. Appreciate the life you had

I've been learning a bit about oncology for 2 years, and I have a pretty good talent with rainbow loom. I just donated $20 of my profits to St. Jude's. I know it's not a lot, but I just say that that $20 was 4 hours of my life, dedicated to helping Cancer patients, and even if that's not much for other people, im proud of what I did :)

Anonymous Still Anonymous when I was twelve I tried to do something like that, but I crochet. unfortunately none of my stuff was sterile because I didn't know about that part. may I just say, thank you for your contribution. $20 might not seem like a lot, and neither does four hours, but it's a wonderful thing you did.

I am sorry I have been thought a lot because when I was 2 my mother had died and in 2016 on my way to school I had a phone call from my grandpa my grandma died I told my mom can I skip from school😓😓😨😨😧😧😧😧😧😧😧😧 sorry for your lost I will pray for her everyday I will put some money to your family and hope

My sister-in-law had ALL diagnosed at age 8. My brother-in-law was here donor for her BMT in 1990. This July she will be 41 years old are going strong

What a beautiful inspirational young lady who touch so many people's hearts, and still continue to do so.

Every year, we remind ourselves of why we do Extra Life. This still hits hard.

jada Pena I agree with some of what you said but honestly, is there any good reason for God to kill her? If what you are saying is that God needed her in heaven then God was being selfish. He should've let her live her life fully not take her away just because he thought what he needed her for was more important than her own precious life

Sad story.... ❤️ rip little girl. You fought so hard, and we wish you had more time. You brought joy into the world and god wanted you by his side. Shine bright and look down on us, as your family will always be thinking of you and what you did for them.

I really do hope with the knowledge of doctors and as medicine advances we can find a cured for cancer so we can save many lives....victoria man what a sweet girl im so sad this happen to her she fought to the end ....rest in peace ....

The government won’t allow it, hospitals make lots of money with cancer treatments, and sadly the government would prefer to keep getting money than helping others with a cure.

I am sorry for your loss my son at the age of 3 had A.L.L he was on chemo for 3 yrs it was a long battle many tears we almost lost him thank God he got better he beat it he is 23 yrs old and has a baby boy your story had me in tears God Bless your family.

one of my best friends had leukemia and he died very recently this was extremely sad to watch because he had a relapse too and a bone marrow transplant. I am very sorry for your loss I know how it feels to lose someone that way. best wishes.

This just makes me cry 😭 I have a friend battling the same type of cancer for the fourth time and has a twin brother he had a stroke bc if his meds and he was energetic played baseball and just fainted and was rushed to the hospital and he is over 1,000 miles away from his family and home In Philadelphia my school has been so supportive helping his family with money and in the courtyard we would all go and have a moment to pray for him and talk to his twin brother but you know all you can do is pray sometimes and for Victoria people prayed and prayed but it wasn’t enough and it sucks RIP VICTORIA ❤️❤️😭😭😭😭

This is very very sad.

This is such a powerful story! I had battled ALL cancer when I was 14 months old and was officially cured by age 5. I take part in survivorship studies at Dana Farber cancer institute. I do my best to make a difference in the world and helping others. While I was in college, I designed this game that kinda of based on my story.

She knew the secret to being an overcomer - helping others through your own trials. God bless the family in their grief.

I’m not sure why or how I came across this video. I am so sorry for your loss. My son Dustin was diagnosed with ALL 9/13/2001. We did three years of chemo...he has been cured since 2009 and turns 22 this May! God is good and just know that your baby girl is in the arms of our Savior Jesus! 😘

Victoria was incredibly brave and loving. It takes real grit to fight like that and at the same time be a helping hand to so many other sick kids. Hope she's happy in heaven, or whatever lies beyond the veil.

I'm not an emotional person, but this video always makes me cry. At 2 years old, I was diagnosed with rare form of childhood cancer known as Retinoblastoma. (Cancer on the Retina of the eye). As a result, I spent a ton of time in doctors offices, on the road going to and from different hospitals, clinics and specialists from multiple states. So while most kids were in the classrooms learning history and science, I was learning how to stay alive. Extra Life is an amazing charity organization that provides some much needed relief for kids and their families and I am proud to be a part of this fantastic organization.

@@annoynmous1 It's not painful. I lost the eye when I was 2. I'm 37 now. So for 3 1/2 decades I've never known anything different. I'm not sure how I could help with Saint Jude's but would like to if I can.

This makes me think about my friend Jamie, who had osteoporosis, who has now passed. I pray and hope for the best for everyone with cancer... ❤️
