Life in Stages is the National Theatre’s brand-new interview series profiling some of the biggest names in British theatre on KZread with new episodes released on Thursdays 7pm BST. The series begins with Olivia Colman and Rufus Norris as our guests on 22 April 2021.
Filmed on the empty Lyttelton stage, each episode features a pair of creatives reflecting on their stage careers, and revealing the funny, personal and poignant stories behind everything from their earliest theatre memory to their biggest professional highs and lows.
The next episodes of Life in Stages feature Jessie Buckley and Josh O’Connor, and Adrian Lester and Meera Syal. An additional three episodes in the series will be announced soon.

@@OIII-IOOO Yes, frequently the females are cryptically ‘hidden’, scrutinizing, and come out of their conceal to consider and regard their mate. She could be right in front of you singing and you would still have a hard Time seeing her. I would say Olivia is welcome to either.

I first saw her in Hot Fuzz, was dying with laughter at her character , who snorts when she laughs and makes suggestive comments, was absolutely brilliant! Loved her from that moment on.

Another best moment of hers for me was with Graham Norton show talking about her English teeth. Love it.
She is sooooooo precious! Needs to be protected at all costs!
It doesn't sound like nasty stalking, just getting to know him, his music taste and looking extra pretty for him to notice her.. And she eventually confessed her feelings to his friend, so he could break the news to him.. So if he didn't like her, she would probably cry, and move on..

Olivia Colman is equal parts lovely and hilarious. And I love the dynamic she has with Helena Bonham Carter, both on and off screen.
She's brilliant in everything, but her role in the The Mitchells vs. The Machines... A+. Perfect casting. Perfect everything. Oscar please

Olivia Colman is one of the most underrated actresses IMO. Love her work in The Lobster and The Favourite.

Oh come on, she learned the lyrics of his favourite music by heart and said herself, he didn't even notice her interest for weeks until explicitly told, so I doubt that she was following him round or anything - that's not stalking, she just misused the word. No man gets convicted for "stalking" for knowing all the lyrics to a womans favourite album either. ^_~

@@Jemima1377 You don't get the point. If a man had said what she said the reaction would be very different. I have no issues with the actual situation she described and wouldn't whoever said it. However, society has significant double standards when it comes to who says what and this is an example of that.

Oliva has no range and plays the same part in her movies.But went to Oxbridge and has contacts.Elite contacts.
This is how you know she lies about her age. We are the same age and at no point in my youth could you make money typing. She says she’s 47 but she’s probably more like 55 or 56.

@@silvia_music I'm 50, we had typing classes at school and you could make money doing that , that's how secretary's did things back in the day in the UK , we finish school at 16 , so why can't you believe it ? Maybe you didn't get a job doing that but you certainly could where we grew up in England oh and btw you still have to type on a keyboard , which is what I'm doing right now, imagine that!
