How old is too old? | SBS Insight

How do we judge how old is too old, and who gets to decide? Insight explores this question with guests including Ginger and Carman, social media influencers in their 60s who defy age norms. Mike became a father at 62 and believes fatherhood has no age limit. Sue, a 75-year-old bus driver, works full-time, while Jennifer worries about her 86-year-old mother, Nancy, driving. Gwenda, diagnosed with dementia, handed in her license, feeling trapped in her small town. Adele thinks her mother is too old to be a primary caregiver for her grandchildren. Derryn withdrew from the Melbourne mayoral race at 80. Vall gave up driving at 87 despite passing her test. David, a 91-year-old "Super-Ager" was studied by the Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing. Dr. David S. is a GP who handles complaints against older doctors. Nick, a 74-year-old truck driver, insists he's a better driver now than when he was younger.
