Our relationship borders on the extreme limits of what most people consider proper. Especially in the US. 35 year difference I was 70 and she was 35 - no kids - OFW for 14 years - been together 6 years now. She didn't know my monthly income put me in the not top 1% but top 0.1% when we got together.

As a 59-year-old American male, I am physically fit and in good health. However, I am aware that my physical strength will eventually decline with age. Therefore, I would not consider dating a Filipina woman in her 20s because I would not want to burden her with the responsibility of caring for me in my old age. I believe that it would be unfair to her and to any potential children we might have.

I am 59 with a 34 year old and our infant son. I had Filipinas as young as age 15 chasing after me circa 2013, but the Philippines law does not allow that so I had to decline her overtures asking me to please take her virginity. I was pleased to see on FB that he ended up with a Filipina bf closer to her age to do the duty that expats (extranjeros) will rarely ever experience anymore. After that I found the lady who was 25 and is now 34. She actually has less energy than I do now that she has a baby to care for! That said, I could easily handle a 20-something young lady; and I plan to be sprinting and lifting weights into my mid-70s at least. So I do not see the problem. A man who maintains peak fitness will still be athletic into his 80s at a diminished capacity but no where needing to be taken care of. Besides wealth can solve that future problem. The only reason I am not still in the dating market is because they lady I have is the jackpot. Do not sell yourself short. The younger your wife, the more young you will be motivated to be. That said, mid-20s maturity is probably the lower bound of the sweet spot as long as you are willing to bear children. Upper end of sweet spot maybe at most ~30 years old, as you need to develop a strong bond before their baby clocks go tripwire/haywire around ~29ish or so.

These results are not surprising. My guess is that most Filipinas have never met a foreigner much less dated one. An while we expats would like to think that we are numerous and important we are not that large in number and tend to concentrate in limited areas. What does seem to be true is that the Filipinas that do meet and date foreigners are more willing to accept older partners just as some of these women were willing to do.

One thing that needs to be taught to all pilipina that want to date older man is that if they get married to have a long term goal..what I mean is life insurance or a savings account. I tell you that because last year I knew two older foreigner who died in the Philippines and left the Filipina with NOTHING...they both had to move back to the province. The sad part is one foreigner already had life-threatening illness. This is sad that a Filipina is left in a worse situation than when she got married.

That is why I, if I met a Filipinas and married her, I would want her to get over here (Germany), because in case of my death she would get part of my pension (and most or all savings of course) and if we were to have a kid (or more), the government gives citizens money to help raise kids (at least until the child is 18 years old). Oh, the birth of kids are also without costs here.

Plus she's left with the stigma that she already sxually entertained old men, and no younger handsome men will want her if he know's these detailes. So now she can't find real love with someone she finds attractive, and she has no money, only stigma. She has to start the whole process again, of fishing some other old dudes 😢

Remember dating American can have many ethnicities…. Sometimes when referring to dating Americans from other countries there is a specific preference in specific ethnicities. It could somehow come off as shallow if you were to say I like American, but a white male, but questions need to be asked specifically otherwise it’s vague and general.

There is 65 year old fit and 65 year old looking like 80, it depends on each individual. I am 60 and though these ladies are beautiful, they are too young and from another generation. My Filipina wife is 12 years younger than me.

It's nice that some Filipinas would date older foreigners but there are things to consider. Older people have more medical issues and it's not fair to burden a younger woman with dealing with any of those things. Also, if the age difference is too great you run the risk of widowing her at a relatively young age. If love is involved that is something to consider as well. Conversely, she will be up for an inheritance at an earlier date than she may have expected if she has been a good wife to said older foreigner. That could set her up for life and help her family as well.

I'm in my mid 50's and as much as I would love to entertain the thought of being with one of these lovely 20 something ladies, I'm in my mid 50's! Although I'm still fit and active, Peter Pan I'm not. For practical reasons I would say maybe 38-45 minimum age. If I was in my 30's? Heck yeah!

I'm 64, livng in ireland. I'm engaged to a filipino woman who was 59 this month. Planning to have a civil marriage in november, and hopefully get her over here at some stage. For me, it would have someone that was not too far from my age. But to each his own. I think that scams are more likely to happen if guy is a lot older that's just an opinion.

Biology. Men desire beauty and most girls desire stability. Because beauty is mostly in a woman's prime, they go for young and prime age is around 18-26. And as for the women there, foreigners are always seen as rich so there is the stability. Does not mean the woman will not fall in love with an older guy though.

Age is actually a number. For example, a guy who is 30 years older is gonna croak on average 30+ years before his significant other. So assuming they stay together, the relationship length is clearly limited by his age.

Life is a gamble. Close to half of marriages in the USA ended in divorce. Couples gambled in their relationships and half lost. Young filipinas are gambling in relationships as well as Old Geezer himself. Why the negativity in these filipinas’ choices? I say, more power to them. Millions of single old men have money and they are lonely and miserable. I’m so happy for them that they are trying their luck elsewhere, in this case the Philippines.

If you want healthy kids you need to aim as close to 18 as possible, when i am 35 and want to have kids i will be looking for a 20 year old.

Poor girl, at 20 she barely reach the age when she can have a young boyfriend to fall in love with, and go to movies, music festivals, descovering new artists, reading new books. But she can't because she has to pop up children for a 35 years old, to refresh his tired sperm😢😢😢

Ah, age gaps. Well, Mother Nature and all the Gods clearly smile approvingly on such unions, and even bless them. How do we know? Nature has given men the ability to father children into their 70s, and even beyond. But they limit women from that ability beyond around the age of 40. Nature has also arranged it that older men seldom like women closer to their own ages. But nature has provided that many a younger lady likes men who are substantially older than they are. It may look as if it's all about money. But women naturally want mature men who can financially support the wife and kids, and who are no longer playing around. And nature doesn't prevent love from developing between those of different ages. Nothing new under the sun❤️❤️

Seems like none of them will date a foreigner or a person over the age of 60. Yes they say age does not matter but going from 18 to 19 is not 60 or 50. I am sure if money was there it would be a totally different story..

I certainly hope that these young women are practicing safe sex.. It would be sad if they became economically trapped as a struggling single mother.

In my personal experience there, they don’t care about age, because they care more about the money.

Teach these young girls to not date no more than 10 years a head. GOD put a cap on that at 10. 18 with a 65 year old bum is insane. He's a ped waiting on death. He will destroy her life and trap her with a child so let them be young and live their life.

There is so much wrong with what you wrote here. I am 65, and I am not a ped waiting on death. I never had a child and would like to have one, and the chance of having a healthy child is better with a woman in her twenties or early thirties. Yes, it is not an ideal situation. But neither is marrying a Filipino who will likely leave her with a child or two and no support in a marriage that can't be dissolved. Yea, you're right; that's so much better. 😂😂😂 At least with a Foreigner, He will likely be deceased in twenty years or less, and leave her in the top twenty-five to fifty percent income bracket of her country. And she would be able to visit or live in the USA and travel to other areas too. This is not intended as a commercial trying to sell the idea of marrying an expat, but it could be.

If your wife/partner is young enough to be your daughter, then it is too old. I met my wife when she was 38 and I was 47. Having said that, if a young girl dates a much older guy there is a mutual pay-off. When he kicks the bucket, she'll usually be sorted financially. Personally speaking, I wouldn't be happy if my step-daughter came home with a man my age! I was in Belgium/Netherlands a few years ago with my Filipina wife and our kids. We encountered a couple of elderly Europeans accompanied by young Filipinas and my wife was thoroughly disdainful of them, making a point of showing off our baby son to demonstrate that we had an emotional connection as opposed to a transactional arrangement. Ultimately, however, it's none of my business.

Myself and my Filipina fiance are 18 years different in age. We are really happy together and communication is better Than I could have ever imagined. Our taste in food is very different, but we can get around that. I feel like at 42, I can still give her lots of good years before I pass, and yes when I'm gone she will have no worries financially.

Exactly right. It isn't any of your business or your sour wife. Look up the passport bros saga if getting on your high horse is one of your hobbies. Frumpy middle aged women kicking up a stink that men who move to SEA are finding attrractive young partners. In SEA the threshold to be considered well off or wealthy is much lower than in developed countries. Big surprise women who make $400 or $500 dollars a month jump at the chance to shack up with a foreigner.

​​ I think the big age gap between you and your lady is only a bad thing when one of the parteners is younger than 25. No matter if it's a boy or girl, young people should be left alone to experience the beauty of being young, going to parties, music festivals, discover new things with people their age. It's a spiritual crime to take that away from them. After they passed that stage of innocence and fun in their lives, they are adults, and it's no one else's businesss what they do with their lives, or who they choose to marry or sleep with.

I would advise an older filipina woman. A young pretty woman will tire of an old guy.

I am 61 years old and I will be 62 years old in 2025. I was poor for a long time but now things are looking much better for me. When I was 25 years old my opinion was "why does an old man want to marry a young girl?". If I were looking to get married for long term I would look for someone that is healthy and not ugly and ages 45 to 60. But since I want to go back to school for Physical Therapy Assistant I want to marry a Filipina nurse. Why? Because if I become a PTA only a 2 year program I can earn $62,000 year in USA. A Filipina Nurse working in an emergency room can earn over $100,000 USD per year or more. So.... if the Filipina wants to find someone younger after I finish school then she can leave. If she wants to stay she can stay.
