When she offers him milk, her facial expression is also very honest and spontaneous in a child-like way, and also, she has a milk mustache. It's just the whole combination of the words and the look on her face that successfully reminded me of a little child.

OK, so I'm usually really good at guessing people's age. Like, I'll guess "37" or "23" or "29" and often be spot on. So I was at a rock concert with two friends. We somehow started talking to what seemed like a couple (a guy and a girl), and ended up going to a bar for beers after the concert. Turned out the guy and girl had only talked online and met for the first time today. I couldn't tell if it was a date for them or not, so I didn't make any moves out of respect for the other guy, but the girl was insanely cute. Would've placed her around 20. I was 23 at the time. I talked to her on Facebook later, asked if she was going to Roskilde Festival, and she said she wasn't old enough to be let in without a guardian. (You have to be 15...) Turned out she was only 14!

White people have it the worst, they only look like they're in their 20's.......in their 20's, and after that it's extremes in wondering what age they are From 30 year olds looking like they're in their 50's, or 50 year olds looking like they're in their 70's. Hell, I've even met 27 year old white boys that look like they're in their 40's or 50's primarily because of drugs, or simply bad genes.

You know.. Yin and Yang. I totally crushed on a guy I met at my friend's party (who is also a guy)..the guy seemed totally straight. No put on voice, casually dressed, laid back... we never really merged into the topic of guys or girls though, so to be fair that part was a little hard. Mind you, at some stage I probably would have come across some subtle hints. Totally didn't pick it at all though! This is the most relatable thing ever. I’ve tried to get myself out of my comfort zone and talk to women at coffee shops and the like, but so often I end up hesitating because it’s genuinely impossible to tell how old someone is. Someone will look anywhere from 15 to 25. It’s always a gross feeling when you accidentally talk to someone who’s under 18.

For those of you who didn't get the joke at the end. That spinning wheel thing is called the rolladex (spelt it wrong probably). Before there were digital devices to store contact, people to keep track of contact in a paper and store then in that rolling thing you just saw and carry that around. :3 Think of it as business card organizer. :P So she handed to the guy a business card.

We had a little class meeting 2 or 3 years after finishing school. Trying to smalltalk I asked our teacher if her kids already left her home (after finishing school themselves). She was very unpleasantly suprised about how old I think she was as she was around 30 and had no kids yet. Somehow I thought she was around 50 (as all teachers in general). I think she hasn't forgiven me yet :D

Many years ago, I attended my son's college graduation and his classmates thought I was his younger sister, LOL!! (I'm Asian, now 70.)

I can totally relate to that. People usually think I'm 13-15 while I'm actually 22 years old ;_; they are so surprised when I say I'm at university. I'm a short girl (only 154 cm) and have a young-looking face, those must be the reasons why... But it's not so bad after all, isn't it? Especially when you get older and still look young :)

Opposite problem for me. I'm 18 but people think I'm in my late 20's. If i'm carrying a baby, someone always asks me what my baby's name is. I'm like bitch I'm 18 :\

At a hardware store I was looking at the free wood outside and the guys who worked there came up to me and said in a sort of high pitched voice like when you're talking to kids "you could build a tree house with that would!" I didn't really say anything just nodded and thought "wait a minute.... How old does he think I am!?" I'm 19 and I mean to be fair I *would* totally build a tree house.

Wow this is so TRUE! I remember not even a year ago I got with this Chinese girl in the city. We were standing in line at a downtown Starbucks and she thought I said something in Chinese when I was ordering a pastry. When I explained the misunderstanding, we started talking and sat down together while we ate. I was really nervous and she was super cute. We talked a bit about college and what aspirations we had for the upcoming future. I though she looked to around my age (19) but I soon learned that she was 28 and man did it hit me out of the blue! I could tell she was flirting with me as well, but I never got to tell her my age when her boyfriend comes out of nowhere. After an awkward introduction the man tells her they need to leave and she walks away with him while nervously waving away. I couldn't help but smile after that.

Stone Ban My mom is like 52 and she still gets mistaken for 35. I didn't get her great genes though. Asian people think I look older than 27 and I'm 23 but white people think I look anywhere between 16-18. It's crazy.
