How Ohio State Football's 2025 Recruiting Class Can Become Legendary

Ohio State Football's 2025 recruiting class currently sits at No.1 in the country with 21 total commits, 17 of them being 4 or 5-star players. Quarterback Tavien St Clair highlights the class, with 75 touchdowns and 18 interceptions thrown in his career and a 5-star ranking entering his senior year of high school. Cornerbacks Na'eem Offord and Devin Sanchez also contribute heavily to this recruiting class, mainly made up of defensive players. One or two blue-chip commitments on the offensive line can make this Ohio State recruiting class even better, and potentially legendary. We talk about all of this and more in this episode of College Football with Sam. Make sure to comment so I can interact with you and answer any questions you have!

Agreed on the O-line. Since Paris Johnson they haven't really added what most would consider top tier talent which you have to ask, why? They get top talent and most other positions except O-line. Maybe you could say possibly D-line, they get some great D-ends but the big fellas they struggle to get. Hopefully with nil and the transfer portal maybe that will change. But like you say it all starts on the line.

@@collegefootballwithsam 2026 has three OT’s in the 247 composite top 17, all 4 Stars. One guy is a borderline 5⭐️ and the other is top 12, and both of these guys were Ohio State fans in Ohio and already have Ohio State listed as one of their favorites. The third hasn’t been offered by OSU yet but probably will be. It’s not that uncommon for Ohio to have one great OT, but to have two with a third really really good one is pretty rare. They have a high three star Guard as well. All three guys are true tackle material. Two of these guys are both around 6’7 and 290lbs. While there isn’t an Orlando Pace (and there never will be) in the group, if all these guys either stay where they are or get better, then this will likely be the best Offensive Line class I can remember. Pre internet it was really hard to get information about players, and there may be some amazing class I’m not remembering, but these guys have the potential to be great.

This is the kind of class following 2024 class, that sets up OSU to go on an Alabama run. They develop players well, they just haven’t recruited Oline the best but that’s now turning as well. Michigan can’t get away with recruiting 15-10 classes and hope to be competitive, OSU had a weird couple classes 20-22. Which allowed Michigan to catch up with experience and building around a couple 5 stars. OSU has 5 stars galore.

I agree that Ohio State has underachieved as far as beating Michigan the last three years, and of course not winning several National Championships under Urban Meyer, and Ryan Day in addition to the last two in 2002, and 2014! But most teams would kill to have the program, history, and tied for the best winning percentage with Alabama all-time! Look out this year America, Ohio State is so loaded, and should win the National Championship this year! 🌰🏈
