How to calculate assignment mark from the best 8 assignment out of 12..?

What are Rerun courses on Nptel. I can find those videos already on their website. Will the Teacher be teacing us that subject again or we will have to watch those old videos?

Dear Sir, Need some clarity, i have joined "Software Testing" Course on jan 2020. CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE: • Average assignment score = 25% of average of best 3 assignments out of the total 4 assignments given in the course. • Exam score = 75% of the proctored certification exam score out of 100 • Final score = Average assignment score + Exam score I had 4 assignment and i got 8, 9,6,4... am i eligible to get the certificate ...in terms of assignment?? please clarify i have also downloaded modified certificate it says 77%..?

In a 4 Weeks Course, NPTEL Considers Best 3 Assignments out of 4. So, if you got Good marks in 2 Assignments, then it is not a Issue else it will be a Problem.

@@perumaln367 yeah I did. Check your avg score and the eligibility criteria. The average of 8 assignments was taken with 0 on one, coz I did only 7. But my score in 7 assignments was pretty good like 70-80 in all so plz check accordingly.

Yeah, but you need to get Minimum 10 Marks as Average in those 6 Assignments because NPTEL considers only Best 8 Assignments out of 12.

If you missed 2 Assignments no problem but you need to secure maximum marks in remaining two Assignments to get the Certificate.

Minimum you need to submit 6 Assignments, But if you score more than 40% in those 4 Submitted Assignments, you will be Eligible.
