This decision by Mattel causes only a sense of shame, as it seems that they decided to go on a trend with Initial D so that JDM amateurs sell this crap for a crazy price. Are they missing 2 AE86s from Hw Drift, 2 from hatchbacks, and 2 from premiums?! I'll just pat. And greeting "Hello" from Russia, many of jdm lovers from here ready for anything just to buy this cringe (For whom how) with Ebay for 348$=25.000₽,if really you can buy AE86 from Tomica, and at a normal price. I wish you good luck in the development of the channel.

I don't have any inside info but I suspect that there's a chance that Mattel might not be able to release an Initial D car in the United States even if they wanted to because Jada has the diecast for Initial D in the American market (although it may not be exclusive, I'm really not sure).

it's kinda hard to get tomica ae86 initial d especially white hood version these day...just buy time micro & hobby japan...both got the finest detail for initial d ae86 plus hobby japan also include an engine model too.
