Jordon, Kobe, Lebron, Shaq you name it didn’t torch defensive players of the year? Great offensive beats great defense more often then not in the NBA. This is a subtle shot at Joker. They don’t think he’s that great and they attacking Rudy for “letting” him get these numbers.

Jokic also has less points against AD because they exploit the fact Lebron is lazy on defense. That's why Murray, Gordan, and Porter did so much more in those series. You don't need Jokic to carry when Lebron leaving his man and leaving those guys wide open.

It's not just that they don't like Gobert, it's that they don't like Jokic and so they would rather trash Gobert than praise Jokic. Just like all the media when the Nuggets win they talk about what the other team did wrong, but when the Nuggets lose they talk about what the other team did right

If you look at the tape, Rudy was really playing good defense in practically all his positions against Jokic..but as y'all know there's some type of guys that you really can't shut down on some nights when they're really feeling it.
