Yeah he’s been producing for a hot minute so he knows all of the shortcuts on FL studio on the keyboard so its just for efficiency. You can make beats so much faster once you know all of the shortcuts in your daw.

@@Phober if i'm understanding what you asking, do a melody in one major or minor scale, and then you can transpose it how many semitones up and down you want and it will be always in key, but obviously in another scale. Each time you go up or down 1 semitone, it changes scale and it is in key to it.
