The notion of a flawless marriage or relationship is a myth. There's no set formula for success; what works for one couple may not work for another. Yet, I've discovered that there's always a way forward, even in the most challenging times. Five years ago, my wife and I encountered significant hurdles in our marriage that nearly led to divorce. Despite the adversity, we managed to weather the storm and emerge from it with our bond renewed and revitalized

To this day, they still just think I just had mental health issues and have gone through estrangement with 2 out of 5. I never put down their dad or told them to truth, because i thought I was imagining things. Fortunately I am divorced and it’s behind me.

Narcissists do a ton of projection. Basically they accuse you of what they’re up to. Mine’s poison is parental alienation. She kept accusing me of trying to turn the kids against her. 3 out of 4 won’t talk to me anymore. I’m very obviously totally rubbish at parental alienation 😂 take note of what they accuse you of. They’re expressing both their guilty secret and fear

@@priscillaL83 I believe so. When you’re out of the picture the narc has lost their scape goat to project all their sins onto. It raises the risk that others are subject to the behaviours and inability to self regulate. I also think that narcissists carry their own hell with them. They seem hyper vigilant, as though they think everyone is like them and going to backstab them. Apart from sugar hits from acts of cruelty, I don’t think narcissists can experience happiness

It amazes me how many people they manipulate against you right under your very nose. Due to the lack of resources on this disorder back in the day i wasnt educated earlier on it so i fell victim to narcissist quiet a few times. All this happened to me. I caught my covert narcissist wife right after the first date she had with her coworker last month. I noticed a sudden change in her behavior and that she is speaking about this coworker constantly. I spied on her and recorded their conversation. They took a half day off went into a hotel room and spent 4 hours. I also heard them say that they have had the best sex ever. This is so evil and sad, especially when you realize that you fully trusted and fell in love with someone who stabbed you in the back. I confronted her that same night and now we are filing for divorce. I just discovered she is a narcissist last week. I need to save my 6 year old daughter from that demon, she is my angel. I pray for my daughter everyday and I hope that our divorce and crazy so-called mother will not affect her life really hard

However, I am so pissed off after being faithful to my first husband (he died of cancer) for 31 years, only to be gaslit and tolerate his unfaithfulness……and then getting screwed over again in my second marriage (which is still ongoing for nearly 20 years)…..that I don’t hold out any hope for a faithful spouse in my lifetime! I’m not playing this game ever again! When/if I can break free of this marriage, I’ll just remain single. Apparently, my being faithful means nothing to the men I marry.

Yes, they will also say they have to be at work super early like 3am when they actually can't start working construction til 6 am. While I'm sleeping early in the am he would sneak out. He used to come see ME at 3am so I automatically caught on to that. They will also have a lot of females they talk to that are just friends. They also tell on themselves alot because they can't keep all the lies straight. I remember every word he said. I have had 2 narcissist boyfriends in a row. The first one woke me up to it, so I saw the second ones shenanigans right away. I caught the first one red handed with someone else and he told me "no that wasn't me you saw" . I just laughed because that was so ridiculous, of course it was him. He left when he realized he couldn't gaslight me. They also get some kind of kick out of doing things like that right under your nose. Like we would go for a walk and walk right by the other girls apt. The first one used to take my dog with him. Then when I would walk her she would automatically go up to the same door 3 houses down. Come to find out, he had been seeing her for months. Damn I wish my dog could talk to this day! LoL. I'm able to laugh about it now, but then I was so devastated. I had no idea how many real narcissists there are out there! They started praying on me because I'm a really open, honest, and kind person. They mistake my kindness for stupidity!

Yes... Just went through all this in the last few weeks. My ex got back together with her still married ex-boyfriend... After all the things I've done for her and she string me along for a year doing the" I need to find myself and I don't even want anything from anybody right now but I love you and I trust you..." treatment on me. There's more to it of course, but this is the comment section on KZread and unfortunately I'm not perfect and lost myself a couple of times when arguing with her about certain things. Therapists tell me this was a verbal version of reactive abuse on my end basically because of all the BS and things I should have never had to hear, or deal with, or that she should have ever done if she was a healthy person. Very sad and enraging stuff after all the confusion and lies... Feeling a lot better now after not talking for almost a week and having blocked her number. Hoping to stay strong I'm hoping I don't run into them, I will be hard because I live like three blocks away.

Mine tells me each week he’s going to see her “ mother” then reminds me how this woman took him in during the month I kicked him out. If I confront him that I know he’s using it as an excuse to see her I get the gaslighting then am told I’m just looking for a fight. I actually heard her voice seconds before he hung up the phone on me and he swore it was a kid playing outside 😡😡😡😡

I’m so blown away by your work ma’am. I’m engaged to a woman who is showing every single sign you’ve shared in this video. She works with a guy that she says is gay, but they’re taking pictures together and she says they’re working on various projects together. I have no idea if he’s really gay, but since she’s been working with him we’ve mot had sex. She claimed she was having an issue with her body but never mentioned anything until I brought up our celibacy. I’m exhausted from worrying and concerns over another person. Lies, gaslighting, and when we were having sex it’s like there’s no emotion. She used to be a beast in bed. There’s so much I could share….

Emotional affairs do count when narcissists are involved. I am actually involved in this situation so to speak. My girlfriend has codependency issues which can be a narcissistic trait. She thinks I don’t know that she is involved with a married man who happens to hang out with us next door with friends. I am not sure if her other friends are in on this emotional affair. I think they do know what’s going on. I recorded a video saying that I didn’t do anything for her and I was just a side piece. Went on to say we are just best friends. On that recording, they were having sex in her friends gazebo on the porch that morning. After we exchanged letters to express our feelings, everything she wrote was projected on me as the problem. As much as I want to believe in her, that recording is too sketchy and there were disgusting things going on.

How about how a narcissistic wife treats her husband when cheating on him. I always hear/feel that from professional people, the general or only take is the husband is the narcissist. Speak more direct. I am struggling with listening to generalities from so called professionals for more than 27 years since divorce from the 1st wife. Her mother seems to have been a narcissist from what I understand. She married husband #2 to escape her 1st husband and her own father and mother. Went to cheating on #2 with excuses like you just described for a man that was more financially successful than husband #1 and #2. Which somehow was passed on to my ex. My children, in their 40's now do not communicate with me due to the distortions they have been fed by my ex and her mother which extends to all the people we both knew that do not communicate with me now. I am just trying to stay away from all the bs. Still hurts though

I think i have an even sneakier one. Either that, or im gaslighting myself. Ive decided to TRY to give it to God. Cuz ...HE knows. I try to go back to elementary feelings. I self preserve by saying.." self, its just a boy, its life, youre not the only girl on the planet, he might kiss another. " but then i get mad again. Cuz it still hurts. Even if youre a kid and they kiss another girl on playground. I cant find away to trust a man. I want to...but...meh. btw. At 50 something, i shoukdnt have to still resort to winning affection. I should be cuddled up with my choice person, who knows when to love me with a spontaneous picnic. Like I do for his spontaneous needs. Sick of being hosed, and finding out some random girl is getting all my rewards. You know? It sounds pathetic, but, if you're reading this, you searched it out, cuz you're not far from my experience.

She is not doing a great job since she went down to Florida with her kids and the trip had to cost about $8k and she does not work. Plus someone paid the $60 k in real estate taxes she owed. I have her money twice , but she never paid them when she only owed 20k. She also says that she is not going to entertain the crazy fantasy I have made up in my own head ! She also showed me the air B Ann she was at. She showed me there were four rooms. Hers, her two kids rooms. The fourth room the bed was not made and the pillows looked like they had pressure on them . I get a feeling they used that extra room before she flew her kids down . This way she did not use her room. Plus originally she only brought clothes for three days and she had all these new outfits . Something is going on . I blame myself for leaving her. She is Definitely covert , but I love her Axnd feel I could have done better. The only thing is I think if everything was perfect in our marriage and she met this guy she still would have started a Ryan’s then left me. She was always wanting a famous millionaire and I think this person is a decedent if Bob Marley and she met him through a business deal she was working on. I am so sick I just want to die!
