This is very interesting. How you do have this ceremony without so much religion? I love the honor & tradition, but Christian. Too much extra!!

We're still one people It doesn't matter. Let love lead
I couldn't understand the head or tail of the "naming" ceremony. To start with it wasn't a Ga naming ceremony and I presume it to be an Akan. Where was the family elder or uncle of the father of the baby? Please make sure Daavi drags a mask wherever she goes. I heard the grandfather of the baby coughing, and you never know. In January, a niece of my classmate celebrated her birthday in Ghana, the niece and some others who attended the party died after getting the virus.

The family of the lady are Gas. Dey spoke Twi bcos most of us there didn't understand the Ga language. The ceremony isn't an elaborate one but a simple one
Why didn’t you speak Ga?
@abenasworld

Bcos I can't speak Ga and I'm not a Ga. I'm Kwahu
