God Bless you in your journeys across the USA. I am been tucking since 1996. Back them we did not have many women drivers, however, over the years, I have seen several. It is amazing that you are willing to live this very difficult life. This is not a gig for the light hearted. I am glad you have mechanic skills. This stuff can save your life. In 1999, I almost died in my truck. I left Denver heading to Sacramento, and ended up on I 80 passed Cheyenne WY. My alternator went out in a blizzard, and I ended up at an exit off ramp. It snowed like crazy for two days straight, and I-80 was closed. I could not get any help. My truck was freezing. I was in my bunk hungry and cold, waiting for help. It came on the third day after the roads were reopened. My phone was discharged so I could not communicate with dispatch, and the truck batteries were depleted. After an experience like that, you can only thank God.

Koko, you are such an amazing lady. I looove how you didn't let these repairs get you down,it can be upsetting at times but we have to keep rolling. Honestly,I once was at a truck stop waiting for a flat repair that took 5 hours and it was very upsetting. The guys somehow skipped me but in the end I wasn't charged a dime for the repair, they also checked the air from truck to trailer at no cost to me. So needless to say what seemed to be a negative outcome became a positive one before I knew it,I lost time that couldn't be made up but atleast I wasn't down on roadside shaking my head lol!! Keep up the good work and I'm sorry your latest relationship didn't work out,it very well may be best that you just do your thing and not worry about it. But yeah trust me, Koko busted her tail to make that money. I’m a owner operator and I’ve grossed that amount plus some. I’ve also grossed way less. Trucking is for grinders and for those who like to drive. If you are not both of these, trust me trucking isn’t for you. Everyone wants to make the money, but when they get out here and see how tough it actually is, then they quit. It’s a good paying career but the work is not all just driving.

Thought I did all my research over the past 2 years, but I was getting the wrong info from the wrong people. But for me everyday has been a learning experience and I realize that out here the experience is going to cost you. So with that being said, don't let the bad win, fight for what you want and strive to be the best at what you do no matter what. Hope to see you out on the road, take care and be safe ‼️‼️‼️

Not only are they trying to get young people recruited for cheap drivers, it's a way for these big carriers to get the government to ease up on the regulations on self driving trucks. Think about it, if they keep saying there's not enough drivers the government will let them bring on more self driving trucks and once that happens they'll get rid of driver's all together and save them probably trillions of dollars every year when in fact there's no shortage of driver's just bad companies that treat drivers like crap.

Your comment is most definitely the one that I feel most women these days gotta hear. You can’t advertise a Prius as a Lamborghini now can ya. So why would you advertise your body and expect people to take it slow and seriously. My analogy works because: 1. People who drive Priuses are in it for the mileage, ergo, the long run. They know what they’re looking for, and what to expect. 2. In stark contrast people absolutely beat the shit out of and disrespect the hell out Lamborghini’s. Statistically speaking, the second it leaves the store, there’s a 80% chance it ends up crashed within 7 blocks of the dealer. People buy these cars for their wild nature and fun times. Now. You see exactly why visually advertising yourself as one thing whilst verbalizing that you are another gives people the wrong idea and attracts the wrong people. Yes there’s much more under the surface to people. It’s that initial meeting that sets the standard as to how someone going to perceive and thus treat you, and also why they say first impressions matter a lot. Now I’m not body shaming, I’m just pointing out the logical fallacies that a lot of modern women gloss over due to their fellow female peers amping them up that it doesn’t matter. Look at the birth/death rates and marriage/divorce rates in our country and tell me, does it really not matter?

It's good to see that you don't let the trucking business and all that comes with it get you down as you say it can be quite challenging especially being a woman at night at those truck stops I drive for quality Carrier and I drive dedicated freight because the pay is better but you have to deal with hazardous material and take a lot of bypass highways to go around cities

You were averaging $3.48 rpm which is $0.48RPM above market rate. You were killing it which means only 1 or two were slightly under market and as you said "sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do" it happens! Edited: ... Right now this market is not as beautiful because all the newer people and scary people saying yes to every load is causing the spot market to drop but it will turn for the good soon! Your revenues show you actually profit just based on basic expenses so in a way you were still gettin it. This is still inspiration because it shows you actually work to the market and not set in your ways and unrealistic. Much much much respect and hella daps for your well doing and being. Keep it up!
