Our children have to marry and date who they love we are not the ones who is going to live their lives . As long as they are happy then i am happy .

I like how Simas said he felt he could relate to Avri because they have somewhat similar backgrounds, they both are immigrants, have hard working parents trying to do their best, studying and both having a drive to achieve the American dream. I've never really thought of that before.

When i met my mother inlaw for the firat time i didnt speak any frech at all i spend a few weeks with her and when it was times to leave we huged and cried the connection was unbelievable without language....love knows no boundaries, love you both.

I LOVED this video! Please,express my sincere gratitude to Simas' mother for taking the time to speak with us. I am older and faced a much different response to the young lady I first dated. It changed my relationship with my family and the course of my life. God bless both of your parents for being so open and loving that all they cared about was their child being happy with a good person. I write this with tears, but I enjoyed every second. You do look like your mom. Kudos to her though for being open-minded and progressive in her thinking. She is from a racially-monolithic country, so the presumption might be that she is not open to racially (or even ethnically) diverse relationships. So great that she is. Awesome family.
