How My Kids Reacted to Our Separation and Moving House
This week I talk about my kids' reaction to our separation. It hasn't been an easy transition for our family but we keep going! I also wanted to give you a quick update on what we've been up to for the last few months.
We are back publishing weekly KZread videos and sharing our journey with you all, so stay tuned to Sundays at 9AM for new episodes.

I have a very similar situation as you. I have a son who is autistic and his mother and I separated too around the time he turned 4. We still spend a lot of time together though and we text every day. It’s very special to have a relationship like that.

SO HAPPY FOR YOUR FAMILY! Looking forward to watching more videos in the future. God Bless you!
Wow you’ve done so well moving and getting everyone settled. Well done. They look so grown up x
Hiya Tara, lovely to have you back on here, glad to hear your are all settling in wonderfully into your new home and schools. look after yourselves xx
Thanks so much for sharing, Tara. It's great to see you back and to get the update on the big move and what's going on with the kids. I felt so emotional watching this as it can't have been easy, but your video also gives a sense of peacefulness and settling in. In a few years, hopefully you'll look back on this and think it was the best decision.
The house and garden look really wonderful. Best wishes and love ❤️
Wow. Much respect to you for your work ethic. You get things done and work very hard.
So happy to see you back Tara! Doing what you do best, helping others! You’re an inspiration to me! Literally don’t know how you do it! Super Mom, you so are ❤xxx
I love your videos! They have helped with understanding so much❤️
Hi Tara! So nice to see you here on YT once again. Wow, you’ve had many life changes recently. You’re doing an amazing job, as a Mama, keeping your children’s lives focused and stabilized. I look forward to seeing more of your vlogs in the near future! From across the pond in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. Goldie 🇺🇸❤
You’re a super mom i’m glad to see the kids doing well. Don’t forget to take care yourself to That’s very important. But you look happy
can not wait to see what future sees
moving is soooo stressful, breaking up too. you must be bloody exhausted but well done, it looks gorgeous in the garden.
Blessed new year Mama! Seeing the kids thrive is heart melting. You too you look very well. Keep being awesome to your hearts Mummy! ps. Moving house (particularly outside of a borough.. another part of ENgland} means starting over with the EHCP or and school isn't it?
Good luck in your new home and lots of love ❤️

Thank you so much!!
Brave stuff. I’ll promise to eventually watch this but after the last one about the separation, I feel this is too close to home We’re 20 yrs this August. I’ve given my all. It’s not enough. 3 ASD boys. One would certainly note my absence. The other two less so. Just need to work an exit strategy as opposed to typing into this echo chamber Good luck to us all. We still have lives to live
oh what good looking boys !!!! and the little girl too
You’ve done so so well ❤. I’d be really interested in a video on girls and autism. We suspect my daughter who’s 8 might be on the spectrum x
Hi darling I have been following you for a while. I am living in Essex with husband and 4 years old daughter with autism… we are dealing with EHCP plan at the moment and made the registration for primary school. Thank you for your videos,it’s really hard sometimes but your videos are really helpful. I was thinking to relocate but I am scared how she could react. My daughter is still not verbal, she also doesn’t follow conversations so I cannot really explain her what I would like to do.
I know all about moving house... Wishing u a good move
With what level was dylan diagnosed ? My son unfortunatly is level 3 I hope ABA van help him as much as possible
why did you move what is the reason???
But I m sad for your separation 😢it's not just about kids you did hard work physically emotionally you also need some one sorry to be personal but I think he should stand by you
Feel so sad for your kids, once a family is broken the kids suffer much later in life. Does not matter if you are still " friends" or " see each other all the time" the unit is gone. Introducing new "partners" makes it unbearable. I know from experience.

People are very selfish these days. Their own happiness is more important than their childrens mental health and stability. If you can be "FrIeNdS" with your spouse, you can make a marriage work. I would rather stay married to the father of my children who I claim to be friends with, than have another woman raise my children.
Im sorry but separation is one of the most selfish things a couple can do to their children..this is why our kids are so messed up and have difficulty’s coping in life…marriage and family is about duty and not about your happiness..congratulations you have f’d up your kids for life and you can lie to yourself all you want but this is reality..over 80 % of divorces are initiated by women..grow up , its not about you
Super ste. Divna ste zena i majka
