Wairimu Mukuru, in my eyes you are a leader. I have followed your content on tiktok for several years now and it inspires me deeply how you immerse yourself in our culture, past and present. Concerning the recent revolt by the young people of Kenya, it is a step in the right direction. We have ushered in an era where people interrogate everything that's happening in government. Our country is sufficiently blessed by Ngai but bad governance and greed won't let us make strides forward. I am extremely proud of everyone who came out and raised their voices (including me, I'm a millennial) even with the violence that we were met with. May all those who lost their precious lives rest in perfect peace. With shaking voices and trembling knees, we really did that. On an emotional scale, defiance is much higher than apathy/despair/powerlessness that have abided with our people for too long. The collective consciousness will never be the same again, it will only go up from here. Bururi uyu twatigirwo ni Gikuyu na Mumbi no muhaka tuumenyerere na ithue tugatigira ciana citu. Ngai akurathime Wairimu. -Njeri kuma Rware

Wairimu, I have cried with you. You are indeed your father's daughter. We crossed paths while he was taking a course in one of the education institutions, and it broke my heart when he was taken away from this world. Keep the fire burning, and you have echoed my thoughts on this platform so confidently. I agree with you 💯. I am proud of you.

Ok Im South African and listening to this lady I'm seeing the similarities between your Govt and ours. Right now we voted with our feet on 29 May 2024 and we ended up with a multi party state. It took a while before Ministers were announced because the Political Parties could not agree on seats. Then there are States(Provinces) where also there was no outright majority. I can tell you now we are in a Pressure cooker that can explode any moment. We have high youth unemployment. I mean Doctors, Teachers, Lawyers. I mean learned people that are sitting at home without jobs. The Public service is in shambles. The gap betwren the rich and poor is getting wider. If and only if our Leaders can take notice and listen to the cries of the people. We will all be in a better place. GOD BLESS AFRICA 🙏🙏🇿🇦🇿🇦

This is a very interesting conversation and we are lucky as a nation to have young people this informed. I am not suprised though that the church has been castigated over and over again for not speaking up.However, it's fair to say that the church was left for the very elderly and they can't speak for the youth as we expect them to.Let generation z and all that care for this nation fight from the spaces we've chosen over the church. The church has a role, yes but these are very different times.

Ruto is too rough to be spoken to that way. He doesn’t care n never will. He is a narcissist and cold like ice. He has always been a thief n there’s no reason for people who voted for him to say they thought he would have cared for the country but he didn’t. You vote for Someone who had graft cases in previous governments? Like Kenyans have a long way to go.

Churches should not be taxed, they would have less money to help the people independently. ,

@@teresiahwachira1099 am not sure what you trying to say, but churches do and should rent out their hall privately for functions this is money that helps to maintain the property and to assist in the many things that they are involves in. If they do not get money in how can the help people.
