How Mullets Saved a Town

Ойын-сауық

VICE follows Mullet die-hards Lynne and Cougar, as they compete in the annual competition dedicated to Australia's favorite hair-cut. 'The Chelly', a normally quiet regional pub transforms into a sweaty, hairy assault on the senses for a day of madness and mullets. For Lynne, a 59 year old mother of four, and Cougar, a cheeky young Aussie larrikin, this is the most important day of the year. To them, It's not just a haircut- it's a lifestyle.

I live in the Deep South USA.... The land of unapologetic authentic mullets for decades! We use to go Mullet sniping when camera phones first came out. In one mission, we left the sound on and the guy heard us snap the picture! He turned around after purchasing a few bud diesels and Marlboro reds, rubbed his hands through it and said “It’s pretty ain’t it”... I also had 3 black friends with Mullets! Much respect for the real OG Mulleteers out there!
