I think once you get out of the poorest zone it gets hard to calculate the true value of time because the higher time zones are priced to keep the poor out. They put a toll by each time zone and then even once you get there, you’d find things are 10x more expensive than they were back home. It’s less like going state to state and more like moving from an impoverished country to a flourishing one, but done on purpose.

One thing about the increase in "price" in the richer areas could be down too out pricing certain class of people out of the area. If time means nothing tol the rich, the price is as much way too keep class statis in place, uping the price as high as they wamt, kno2ing that it wont affect them but will affect the undesiables

such a great vid. such a NECESSARY vid
Can't really argue with the conclusion. Maybe I can. The movie is set in the future so the PS5 is probably retro gaming in those days and depending of the curve of the price of old stuff, it can be much cheaper (like PS3s today) and really expensive (like NES, SNES, N64 or GameCubes). And you didn't take inflation into consideration, so when you bring future money to todays time or take todays PS5 price to the future, you need to adjust to inflation. And yeah, I just had a conversation with a guy 2 days ago about the PS5 not having any game that would make me want to buy the console yet.
The reason the meal cost so much was because he had... seconds.
