Joe, I can honestly say three main points about your Locked on Bills podcasts: 1. I virtually ALWAYS enjoy your shows 2. I FREQUENTLY gain important new insights and learn from your detailed knowledge & thoughtful analysis (N.B.: that's quite a compliment to you because -- without boasting -- I'm a pretty fair student of the game myself [having both played football through college and having watched bazillion games on TV and in person]), and 3. I LOVE the way you are "real" and bring your personality essence into the show ... the wrap-up today about your kids and your partnership with your wife/best friend was SPECTACULAR and so spot-on. You're exactly the kind of guy who would make a great next-door neighbor and buddy ... we need more people like you. Too bad the Bills aren't smart enough to hire you full-time ... but then again, if they did that, you probably wouldn't have the time (or the fiduciary ability) to keep doing the podcast or "tell it like it is" with unfiltered candor.

Congratulations Joe and always a great show. I am concerned about Cook, if you watch all his drops on tape, he didn't watch the ball into his hands. He's looking up and down the field. If he doesn't fix it I believe the problem will continue.

I would be surprised if there has ever been a team with 6 receivers at 650 yards. Even at exactly 650 each that would be 3900 yards passing right there. It just seems impossible that some QB spread the ball around that perfectly. As a side note, the Bills have come a long way from the receiving weapons Josh had in his rookie season. In 2018, the Bills had ONE receiver over 650 and it was just barely over. Zay Jones had 652 yards receiving. Top 6 Bills receiving yards 2018: Zay Jones 652 Robert Foster 541 Kelvin Benjamin 354 Jason Croom 259 LeSean McCoy 238 Chris Ivory 205

Yeah that receiver room is left wanting just a bit, even with the RB and TE included, ...and that's putting it lightly, lol. I think just having Keon, Khalil, and Samuel alone would be preferable to that year's WR group... 😂

I can see 6 players with 650 receiving yards. Josh won’t be looking to feed a WR1 that demands it…and as you said, they were very close last season to have 4 as Khalil was just 30 short of that. Curtis might beat Dalton as the leading receiver but either way both get 650. Khalil gets 650. Chase - if he’s really going to be mature this year gets 650. Keon gets 650 to avoid talk of being a bad pick when the team could have had either Xavier. They push for him to get it but he also seems wired to work hard. MVS, Dawson (minus wrist injury) and James all may get there too. Good question though. It’s also possible that three guys get 1,000. Curtis, Dalton and Chase.

I remember Thurman pointing out on one bills drive that cook was doing a lot better in pass protection...in 22 when cook was used on 3rd down, he had a problem finding the window to settle in I remember the break down of it led to some interceptions because josh threw it where cook was suppose to be and he wasn't there!! 23 was better once, brady took over! No reason to think it's not even going to be better in 24

i think it'd be natural for some to have more yards than others so it would be easy for me to see some at 500-600 yards and others 700-800 yards. Really though, One with 700 and one with 600 is just as good as 2 with 650 yards each to me. It's just the way the cookie crumbles during the season.

I'm pretty sure that the reason the Bills dropped out of the first round of the draft was because of the cap. They wanted Coleman and took a risk. Trading back out of the first round saved them money on their first choice in the draft.

Hamlin was a good backup until Cincinnati. Can't fault the staff there. 6 receivers with 650 is a stretch as Joe showed, but I'm wondering, could there be 4? Great family update, I have a feeling that you will become a big follower of women's sports in the near future, something Mark Packer said a few years back when he became a multiple girl dad.
