My friend invited me to a Paint and Sip party which will be on Tuesday. I had another friend invite me a month ago but it was not able to attend. I'm actually a sommelier and my friend is an artist. It can be scary at first. That's why I love sharing all I know about Paint Parties. There is plenty of business to go around and this is a great way to make a profit every party, doing what you love!

I think I'm going to charge $25 because I'm new at this... The competition is so expensive so .. hopefully it works ..

Thanks to you, I just got started and have booked my first party for my Air Force bases spouse club. Quick question? When reaching out to these venues to try to host a party there, how does that work? Do you pay them in advance for the space? Is there an agreement where as long as people are purchasing items thru the restaurant you receive the space? I'm still very confused about that part and need assistance. Thanks! -Art On The Gogh

Great video! But you only do paint parties for ladies and kids?? My crowds are very mixed. Men and woman. 🎉

Do you do anything special for your hosts? Like a host discount? Or offer a host gift? Or is it the same price for everyone across the board?

Thanks for watching! If the host can get a minumum of 8 painters to sign up and pre-pay, they can paint free! Sometimes I'll do door prizes and give the host a small gift too.

So how do you price the pre-sketch canvas painting parties and when you make your own canvas for the party

Great videos, Question...If you're the artist instructing/ hosting, do have a finished version of the painting for display to used as a guide per say? or do you do each phase of the painting for the class to follow?

I do both! It's good to allow the painters to visualize the end product, but also to see the break down of the painting, step-by-step.

Does the venue get a cut or do you get the $40/per and they just get the advantage of getting the customers' busineess? I have my first at a coffee shop but they are expecting a cut of my fee. Any advice?

So blessed to find your KZread. Really feel God is heading me into this direction. I personally am a teacher but would love to stretch my wings out and independently earn an income. Have you ever run paint parties at individuals homes? Are there disadvantages?

Thanks for watching! There are advantages and disadvantages with every space you teach at. The main thing I would say is just try to connect with the painters no matter where you are! I am about to teach a party as a fundraiser for a local organization that I’m a member of. I’m extremely nervous and feel like they will ask themselves “why is she teaching us, she’s no artist!” 🤦‍♀️

Thanks for watching!Many times, your painters are more concerned with how they will do and how you are doing. I suggest doing a Guinee Pig party first with a small group of friends or family to practice. Break your painting down be each step and write out the instructions for your painters to have with them. Remember to SMILE!!!

What advice do you have for someone like me who isn’t an artist, doesn’t paint, but wants to throw paint parties and profit. I do have a friend who is a painter and is willing to do the teaching portion of the party. I would do and provide everything else. I would be the host and coordinator she would just be the teacher. I am also looking into having other painters as options. So how would one pay them? What should their cut be?

It's more about FUN art than fine art! I have a member in Paint Party Headquarters that only painted 2 times before starting her paint party business. I think you would have to look at the business relationship and decide how the profits would be cut. I believe in a profit every party, so teaching them yourself - you will make all the $$$!

I don't know if I missed this in the video, but why do you charge less for kids? It makes sense because they are younger but they are still getting everything the adult is getting.
