'All that space for your big hammers & cans of Ether' - you wicked sod I spat my tea out!!!
What I love about muckers videos is there very serious with funny sarcasm! Absolutely love it keep it up!
Lots of the time I don't get British humor, but the good Lord Muck cracks me up in Kentucky, USA.
I used to live next to a quarry that had a Caterpillar 988F wheel loader back in the early to mid 90s . I remember going down there and enjoying watching her load the Aveling Barford rigid dump trucks . The Cat 3408 V8 engine sounded fantastic . The original Caterpillar 988 was the first pivot steer wheel loader in the world when it was launched back in the early 1960s . The John Deere 7810 Will be an appreciating classic tractor In the future . I enjoy watching your videos keep them coming and I will see you in the next one 😊
Nearly all 4 cylinder turbo, and mid horsepower 6 cylinder tractors is a catchment area to watch. New Holland TS100-TS115 and TMs, JD6410-6910, Case Maxxum 5100s and MXs would be the most popular. The era of tractors I can remember growing up around, and learning to drive on 😊
Can’t beat a good auction but f me the secondhand prices at the moment are going through the roof for tractors excavators lorries etc. Hope all is well LM 👌🏻

Completely wrong time frame but our old International 384 always had a place in my heart. The little plucky fella worked hard for 25 years and the only thing that needed doing on it was one clutch, new tyres and a squirt of WD40 on the clutch switch once in a while.
Valmet 8950. Not that many were sold in the UK. However there will still be one in my collection when I win the lottery.
Your Lordship, Thank you for taking me along with you to the Ritchie Brothers Auction. I hope Gerta has a Stroke when she sees this Video! You were so cheeky at 18:10! The nice thing about auctions is, if you know what, and can estimate the condition of the equipment, you can get a good deal. This is great for someone starting out on their own, in business or Farming, ect. CAVEAT EMPTOR!!
I'd have thought the Ford was by far the better buy, but farmers love a Deere! Very interesting, especially at a time of spiralling machinery inflation. Thank you, and well done.
"If you get it, you can have it" 😄 🚩 👍 I love the auctions, just wish I had a bigger bank! 🪙🪙🪙 I would have to say I think the Case/IH Magnum series. 🚜
Thank you friend interesting video so many machines to look at and please keep the great videos coming friend from Scotland 👍😊
Super stuff as always mucker , miles better than the stuff on TV these days 👌👌
Great video kurt. As always. For me has to be Massey Ferguson 6190 & 8110 they bring back great memories for me riding on the passenger seat, watching the old man drilling on an autumn afternoon. Spot on!!! 👍🏼
Massey ferguson 390t,the tractor for most jobs in the 90s,ploughing,slurry,silage chopping with flywheel chopper,we had ours for 17yrs and it only needed 2 clutches fitted and the got the same price when sold it as we paid for it new
What a great place to have a look around.... nice to see a site that lets you visit and test kit before bidding 👍
Has to be a 6610 Deere with 40k box and TLS ! Loved my times on 6000 and 6010 series Deeres definitely revolutionaries in that era and even now sat in a 6630 it’s great ! Bloody marvellous video ! Shame you didn’t show us the Dirty Dozer ;)
Great video! My suggestion for the modern classic would be a New Holland 7840
Cool to see a Richie bros yard from “across the pond” definitely something a little different, thanks for taking the camera along
8550 Valmet/ Valtra, Good stuff Kurt,James and Puppo, that is a weapon of a shovel:):)
Great video melod. Always a grand day out at a big auction. JD 10, 20 and in due course 30 series. The big CAT, a mega machine for clearing the roads of cyclists!
Even though I’m a massive New Holland and Ford lover, I grew up on the passenger seat of a jcb 2140 fastrac. Good condition ones are hard to come by but they all seem to average low prices at the moment. I’d love to see them come back as a proper desired classic
Case mx series 6 pots never seen one that put out less than its rated on pto n scary torque rise figure on the mx135 final evolution of the old maxxum aircon standard n headland management option with proper all round visibility that maybe u didn’t get out the back on a 5100 series
I would say either the Case MX135 or the JD 6910s will deffo become classics in years to come 👌
Watchin this really makes a feller realize that he knows sweet eff all aboot tractors compared to this tea drinkin feller!

It is all the same, diesel goes in, smoke comes out and Greta is fuming. She should try ether, it calms her right down.

I didn't have the time, PC Lite or inclination to patch up a shipping crate and drive all that way giving second hand electrical problems to passing motorists on the way.
Another great vidya LM. John Deere 8400. I was a young mechanic when the all new 8000 series came out and was just blown away. All new engine, transmission, cab, etc. We dove right into the new gearbox as there was a service bulletin to remove gearbox disassemble to replace one single shim washer and bearing. Good time
modern classic of choice for me would be the 6910s power shift box lovely tractor
Certainly wouldn’t choose a Massey 6180 we had 2 of them and when we got rid of them one only drove backwards and the other only drove forwards 😂 if masseys didn’t leak there was no oil in them 😂👍 great vid mucka 👍
I love your comments regarding the service truck. I did not know they were in the UK.
Ty Muck old chap i have seen logger wade and Letsdig at these in the states, Come on buy the Big Cat for carrying the lunchbox etc
JCB Fastrac 3158, was my first Britain's JCB model too!
What a place to spend the day 👌can't believe you resisted temptation on the 8340 🤔 didn't take you long to get to grips with the joystick steering on the 988👍 collectable classic of the future gonna go for the Case MX135 with that beautiful Cummins engine 💪great video Kurt 👌
Great up load 👍the 988f is a blast so easy to use 👌my choice of up and coming classic my old NH8560dt 👍
Thanks for your time and consideration mucker. Awesome video 🚜🇬🇧🚜🇬🇧🚜🇬🇧🚜🇬🇧🚜🇬🇧
Bloody brilliant video Mucker you are a lucky chap having a go in that 988f what a lump of power there. Fenland Rob
Brilliant video!! Very interesting and entertaining too!! Love the humour. Great range of machines and equipment. Cheers mucker!!
Great video love the big kit how about CASE 51 series bit bouncy on the road but good sound or mx130
It might be a while but the T5000 series (NH) will surely be one to look out for, especially in Wales where the farms are generally smaller.
Deutz Agrostar range, Air-cooled engine. Last series before the Agrotron.
Great vid Kurt, loved the sound of the 988 and of course the “how dare you moments” Ha ha 🤣👍🚜
I got planning permission for Ritchies first UK site at Donington Park before they moved to Maltby. I saw loads of interesting plant sold. The big old RB draglines (I think some were RB40's) and they were sold to the Congo. The were shipped within a few days of the auction. Everything Ritchies did in terms of preparing the plant and equipment for sale was spot on. They even measured the gap between machines when lining them up.

Yes they are parked on a string line ! I wonder what those old RB's are like now ?
Well Mucker, it would have to be the TM 165, what an awesome tractor in the day. 👌
I would love a job like that geezer at the auction, what an interesting job.
Thanks for a very enjoyable video
Great video again, a nice modern classic would be a Case IH MX 150
I reckon the fiat/new Holland G/70 series with the super steer axle is probably an underrated classic at the moment. I’m a big fan of the JD 00/10/20/30 series. If I’d had the chance that6920S would have been in my shed😁 I also loved the CaseIH 5150 maxum and magnums were lovely tractors that cdc engine made a lovely noise and they were pretty nice to drive. My humble opinion though and it’s where my money would go! Great video thanks Mucka 👍😁
Great question, my line up would be Valtra 6800 Mezzo Valtra 6850hitech,NH TM155 (Matbro TR200, Merlo 30.6 multifarmer) maybe for another classic line up question. Look forward to the next one,,
Hey if you bought that big loader you could get a snow clearing conteact here in Ontario, almost 6inches on the ground. Or how about a bit of work out in BC rebuild some mountain roads 🙂👍
JD 6210's we went from a blue fleet to green from Doubies in the late '90's, versatile tractors for cultivating, carting, creeper box variants for veg work....great all rounders.
That 988 was a beast, loved the sound! I reckon the TM series is going to be very desirable soon as they'll all be getting worn out by now, so becoming rare to find a good one.
Great video! I guess the big Tonka doesn't need a steering wheel because it doesn't have steering in the conventional sense so why not use a joystick. It's what they fly the big jets with now.
Most of those modern classics are in use in my contry as main tractors on medium size farms and they are great
Only 200 To go till 50,000 great to see love your channel

Excellent video Lord Muck :) John Deere in 7000 plus Case International Maxiumn MX 190 to 350 area lots one buying in my area of Farmers like in 2 plus 4 wheel drive too!
Yes, really enjoyed the video. Thanks.👍
JD 6910 & 7810 with TLS & 50K power quad, but they were classics from new. there's a ruff 6910 just a few miles from me that's up for 23K +vat with 13K hours and every one of them hours was hard!!! i'll keep saving my pennies to hopefully own a 6910 one day long as it has TLS i'd be happy.
M F 3000 range Got 3065 running well does all I ask of it even with loader on front and full range of kit to attach to it
Grand line up of used kit there, that 8340 would have been a great addition to your stable there mate!!! I would have a blue NH 110-90 tradition, last of the old school Fiat's 💪💪💪 Great video as always and looking forward to seeing you getting stuck in about the 7810 friend. 🐕🚜🛠💪👍👌
Now there is a challenge thrown down and mucker said hold my coffee challenge excepted and done (note flag on muckers wall) 🚩👍
Would have loved to have been able to go there. Thanks for another great vid 👍
You did it again Buh ,just realy happy I got to see this one must thank youtube
Lovely. A New Holland Tm155 is quiet a classic
I wonder when you was going to put greta on after starting the cat One day we all have to send her videos of big engine start ups
The two I pick I already have a 2000 Deutz Fahr Agrotron 120 and a New Holland TV140 this tractor layout is unique and not made anymore.
Thanks Kurt cracking vid sir.. Take care..

Some toys there at Richies you be like a kit in a toy shop . That 988 is some best you would need a big sand pit to play in .......nice one Mucka
I like the cat 988 I used to operate them in Western Australia sometimes they were the 992G easy to operate Anyway good content look forward to seeing more Cheers Mucker
Cat 988 some machine on the pit ts 115 mx110 6290 room for big hammers and ether 🤣🤣 broke the mould when they made you 👌
You got more jam than bloody heartlys on that 988f that would of been a dream to drive that around Richie Bros yard do well mucker.
John Deere 6910 and Massey 6480 would be my recommendations for current modern classics. Belting machines.
70 series Genesis Ford/NH specifically an 8870. I have one. They are already highly sought after. Not a chance I’d let mine go. 5600 hrs, 303hp and 1900 lb/ft tq. Solid front axle. I know everyone loves supersteer, but I prefer the simple durability of the solid axle. It’s turns plenty sharp enough for me.
Great video mucka, I used to drive a mf 6290,i do no if it falls in the same category, but for its size was a powerful tractor,
John Deere 7810...real good working machine, best fwa deere we ever had for a bedding (bale shredding for beef cows in -35'c alberta canada) tractor..classic in my admittedly biased opinion.

I don't think anyone could deny the 10 Series
Awesome loved the amazing run down and video
Great bit of kit was told to think twice before getting rid of my TM 135 but would like something a bit faster on the road Wil mid Wales
The skip yard I do work for use a CAT 938 like the one you sat in and a Komatsu A320 that it was parked next to and another customer a scrap yard uses 3 or 4 CAT 998's on the heavy side all great kit
Brilliant video...really well shot and edited to 👏 TM155 quadtrac 535
Always a learning experience 🚜🚜👌👌
Great looking auction, wish I know about that 8340 😥. But for me TM140 or TM155 upcoming 💰 🤙🤙👍👍
yet another lovely vid. Reckon i could spend days playing at RB, fancy a go on one of the big dozers. Valtra 50 series is a possible classic. Sisu diesel engines are pretty strong from what i can see on the interwebs. Also, not much emission control rubbish at that age.

Oh yes ! Had pleasure of a few hours on a forestry guarded 8150 with timber trailer that was a beast ! Pulled like a train and awesome sound !
Brilliant Mucker loved it👍
I laughed wen I saw the look you gave sitting in the office with the flag behind.... like u saying ..I fooking got it... brill.. gees u could walk around that place all day.. great video...
great humour love the discription of the oilers
I must admit to feeling all nostalgic over the 40 series ford range, we had a white cabbed 6640 at college, I also spent some time on a 8340. Massey Ferguson 6180 another nice tractor I remember riding in at harvest. I would love a unimog 1650 though, I used to drive one for a tree surgery firm with a chipper on the front, hiab at the rear and three way chip box. I remember driving it through Dartford tunnel with windows open to hear it's exhaust burbling away. A bit specialist but a weapon and a classic nonetheless
Has to be the 60/TM series New Holland for me, only problem being that like all tractors of that era the prices have gone through the roof mostly down to farms wanting to buy a decent, reasonably modern tractor that is capable of putting in a good days work but without the complications of adblue, egr or inteliscreen gps and headland management.
John deere 8400, never forget the first time I saw one, couldn't believe the length of the bonnet.
reckon the TM190 will be popular.......top of the range, not big money because of the relaibility image, but folks will compromise and "work out" the faults and find shortcuts
Great video as always.I’d have to say a new Holland tm155 would be a very sought after modern classic
For us in the northern part of the EU the Valtra or Valmet valtra 6000 series tractors are the absolute best you can have when both doing farming and forestry. So the higher ones like 6650, 6750, 6850 are already worth their weight in gold if they have low hours and twintrac.
Ritchie Bros is based in my back yard. Near Vancouver BC
That place looks cool mucka and it’s only 20 minutes from where I live…if I could afford it I’d want something like the 8340 be good contracting start up tractor.. I think the John Deere 6930 is already a classic..great video 👍
Lmao, the portable bar service truck. 👍👍👍👍
I think newholland tm150 and early quad trac. Cant wait to see ya get stuck into 7810!
Case 5150 brilliant video
Awesome video! 6410/20 John Deere! Very punchy versatile tractors in my view!
OMG what a playground! What wasn't there is more the question! Like you said that Deere was sweet as a nut with those hours, wouldn't need much tlc to look like new lucky buyer with that one. And that Deutz practically brand new, only the seat gave away it had been used! What a beast of a machine that 988, must be weird when the operator gets back into their car/van to drive home, what's this round thing for?! lol
I reckon some of the last Banner Lane built Masseys such as the 42/4300 series, could be said a successor the 390T etc, good useful tractors still. Stupidly just traded mine in for a French/Chinese built thing...
I think the 00 and 10 Deere’s , tms and maybe the 3690 Masseys (but I’m not sure of the age of them so they might not be 95-2005)
The next classics in the Netherlands are John Deere 6010,7010 en 6020 the Case IH MX Maxxum is also an up comming classic over here.
